We were planning to go to WDW the first week in Dec. but we've decided to get a new computer, a DVD player and go to DL instead. We have only been to DL in the summer when everything is open. So I was wondering if there are a lot of rides closed for rehab the first week in Dec? Is Fantasmic usually showing at this time? Also, what special things are going on for Christmas? Is there anything like MVMCP like at WDW? Thanks!

Not too many things will be down, I think they wait until after Christmas for most rehabs. Thanksgiving and Christmas are major periods, and teh time between them is too short for big rehabs.
