Do we have to carry that big ole piece of paper around all day or do we get another when arriving?

You can choose the way you want your ticket delivered when you place your order. It sounds like you chose the print-at-home option. So that is your ticket. You only have to show it when you enter the park. Then you can fold it and put it away. If it gets destroyed or wet, etc., you can go to guest services and they can print another one for you. Another option, if you have a multi-day ticket is to print enough copies of your ticket so you can use a new one each day.

:thumbsup2

Just so others are aware, if you choose the electronic pick-up, you get a normal wallet sized ticket and you pick it up at specially designed kiosks outside the front gates.

We exchanged our printed at home ticket for a regular small one at guest sevices inside the gate.

:)

You can exchange them if you wish but it takes time out of your day. The whole purpose of choosing print-at-home is to save time and not have to stop and pick up your tickets anywhere.

yeah i've done the will call option before. it pretty convenient, but the print at home is faster

Ya thats why I chose the will call option,I did not want to carry around a peice of paper, but the print one out for each day Is a good Idea:goodvibes

Another tip is take a plastic ziplock bag and fold up the print at home and put in the bag and it won't get wet or tear that easy :thumbsup2

You really only need the bar scan. That is where your info is. If there are problems (for whatever reason), they can print you another one. So no need to carry the "whole" paper.

Technically this is correct for the ticket scanner but the turnstiles attendants are not supposed to take the ticket if it has been cut up like that. If you get a turnstile attendant that knows that this is not acceptable, they will then send you to Guest Services to get another ticket (since your ticket has been modified). This might make you lose valuable time.

i traveled with a party of 5 and we just laminated ours and everything was smooth until my girl finger somehow changed between the days and the finger scan couldnt read her identity
she lost her identity somehow:lmao: that was the only problem we had

The whole point for choosing print at home is so that you do not have to stop anywhere else to get your tickets reprinted into something smaller. This wastes paper, ticket stock and time. Please do all a favor and choose what you need. Electronic pick up or print at home.
