Whats up with the cover of the new eddition of DISNEY FILES?

I thought it had to do with Halloween. I didn't read the editor's letter. And I also agree that the overall "witty" writing style is annoying. I was most excited about the changes coming to the BLT studios. They are getting rid of the bathroom-sink-in-the-kitchen layout.

I wish the Disney Files was more like the old Vacation Magic or the defunct Disney Magazine/Disney News.

I got mine on Wednesday and couldn't figure out where to start so I just through it in the garbage. It wasn't even worth putting in the bathroom magazine rack

I think Disney Files has completely lost touch with it's audience. But then I have felt that way ever since it became Disney Files.

I agree. I'm going to have to change my signature block once again.

I'm not irked by the tone of writing throughout Disney Files, but I agree that it doesn't match the DVC demographic.

I have already cut my issue up for scrapbooking purposes. DH is a fireman so I guess I kinda got the "fire and flames" theming....if I thought about it really hard, put on my new glasses and looked left.

Disney Files is worthless! As a magazie intended for a Disney's very best audiance they fail to provide any type of news, information or special interest items that are worthwhile. We want depth in our magazie not COOL WHIP fluffly news!

OK..finally got mine! hmm..the cover is indeed odd, but it really didn't bother me. The magazine is fluff for sure. Nice recipe from Napa Rose though!

I think the magazine is a total waste of money especially as it has to be mailed to me in the UK. I was only saying to my DH yesterday that I can't believe Disney has anything to do with that awful magazine. Of all the articles and photos that they could have I find the magazine a complete waste of time. Nothing in there is ever interesting. I get far more information on the DIS. That cover was the final insult to me

We're 23 miles down the road from WDW and haven't received ours yet. Can't wait to see it after reading all the posts. I have yet to see an issue that's worth reading ... just marketing fluff. (I assume marketing is paying for this piece of firestarter.)
