I called this morning to make ADR's (our 90-day). I checked on 2 separate days for Sci-Fi Drive-in and they were both COMPLETELY booked. That doesn't make any sense to me. All other restaurants I had no problems even getting close to what times we wanted which were popular times...doesn't that seem strange? I didn't even think it was a super popular place... But, my kids will be disappointed. It's a favorite of theirs.:sad2:

What days did you have trouble with? I'll be calling in a couple of days..and now not sure if I'll be able to get my ADR's...

Depends on your days....if you are talking about June 13/14th weekend, it is Star Wars Weekend in Hollywood Studios. Maybe that is why??:confused3

Are they Fantasmic days? I would try for lunch instead of dinner

I didn't realize that June 13/14 was Star Wars. I called for Chef Mickeys on the 12th, exactly 90 days out, and couldn't get in anytime of the day. First time that has ever happened.

I checked for lunch June 18th and dinner June 16th. In fact, I called this morning as well just to see if there was something weird going on with their system. Nope. Still no luck. I find this SO bizarre!

I did try for lunch...isn't that strange??

I didn't try over a weekend. I tried for a Tues. and a Thurs.

Huh that makes me nervous too. I guess it's good I have a backup restaurant....darn! I really wanted to go there....here's hoping1

I was able to make a reservation yesterday for the 17th of June. Although I didn't get the time I initially requested, I was still able to get in for lunch that day.

You're kidding?!?! I purposely didn't want to go to MGM that day since it's EMH! I thought it'd be more crowded! :confused3 I'm so jealous! Enjoy! :wizard:

same here... i called lastweek to make my 90 adr for sci-fi and they only had an opening for lunch @ 3:50. i called this week and they had an 11:05 for the day before so i changed it. i was surprised too. we have to go too cause this is our dd's favorite and t-rex.

When I made my ADR's ear;y Sunday morning it was the first one I tried to make and could not get in on 6/14 for lunch or diner. So I got on for diner on the 17th. I called back yesterday to see if I could move it to a little later and all the had was 9:05pm on the 17th... so I ended up keeping it...

I have taken notice that Sci-Fi now seems to be *the* sit down reservation to get. Le Cellier was last week's news and now that it's next to impossible, Sci-Fi is the one that is favored.

Pretty soon, you'll find Le Cellier betting bad reviews (NO, I'm NOT saying it's bad!!!!!) and then in about six months, the same thing with Sci-Fi (NO, I'm NOT saying it's bad!!!!!) but such is the life with the Dis boards.

It is extremely popular while Star Wars Weekends is going on. And not just the weekends. People who come for that usually stay a week or more.

I had to get a 4:05 dinner for our Sci Fi reservation on Tuesday, June 16th, there was nothing else available. I took it and was glad to get it, its a must do for us each trip!

MickilovesMickey: You probably couldn't get Chef Mickey's at your 90 day window because it was able to be booked at 180 days out for your time frame. I think that is done now but I want to say most June dates were still 180 days out (CRT as well). I called back in December for our June 12th CM reservation and I am glad I did, I tried to tweak the time on Sunday and she said they were completely booked.

I also had more trouble getting times I wanted for Epcot restaurants and in fact at 90 days out couldn't get into Chefs de France or Le Cellier at all. Got Tokyo Dining instead which is fine with me. But she said now that its 90 days out for ADR's they are booking up fast.

CRT, Chef Mickey's and Victoria and Alberts can be booked now for dates up to either June 19 or 20 (have seen both dates posted and do not know which it is). Next week, when it is 90 days from June 19 or June 20, all restaurant reservations including these three will officially be 90 day reservations.
