What's up with '*'s for one of the limo companies?

I have been noticing ******** coming up as '*'s on posts throughout the DIS boards. Is there a problem with this company that begins with a 'y'?

I know this company has had lots of mixed reviews lately, but I was wondering the same thing. If something is terribly wrong with the company, I think people on these boards would like to know.

I'd also like to know. Based on posts there seem to be some problems since the ownership changes. There seems to be a lot of driver substitution.

They used to be a sponsor. I hope the censoring isn't just because of bad blood between the company and these boards.

I have ******** booked for October 16th. My friend told me they went out of business so I e-mailed Thom. My friend was WRONG! They are still going to be picking me up. Thom e-mailed me right back with my arrival time and airlines. I have only used themn in the past and will continue to use them. Never been a problem for me. I think you get complaints about any business, nobody is perfect.

phillybeth I think it worked for you because you separated the "Your" and "Ride" and then spelled it wrong the next time. Let me try it altogether spelled correctly...

I sent an email to You Ride (you know who I mean) 3 days ago making a request for 10/2 pick up at Orlando and have heard nothing. I'm going to switch to Tiffany. I'd like to do FL Tours but don't want to do the cash thing. DH says he'll do it but finds it odd to give cash for a return trip that hasn't happened yet.

I know that some of you have been seeing ******** in the place of certain websites. This will show up when a company spams these boards to advertise their own organization. This is not censorship and is not due to the opinions of those of us on the boards, but the result of a company that has broken boards policy. This is only done after repeated warnings to the company in question.

Guidelines for posting:
5. ADVERTISING: The only commercial advertising permitted on these boards, are those that are contracted through the site. Any posts that are deemed as advertising for a commercial interest will be deleted.

I hope I didn't offend by calling it censorship. I read in the FAQ section, that when *'s appeared in place of a word, that it was a censored word. Thanks for the scoop!

Can we assume that a company that has to spam the board is mediocre?

After all, a good company will get so many nice comments that it does not have to spam the board.

Well, I personally will not use that company now after learning about their spamming these boards. If they can't play by the simple rules of these boards they cannot be trusted in my books.

We used *that company* in August and had the same great service from Jim we always had.
I think the company should change their name to ********.
