What's up with no availability for studios at Boulder Ridge?

Currently, availability for BRV studios at the 11-month booking window (for 2022) is unavailable for most weekends. It appears reservations are being walked. None of the other resorts appear to have this availability problem, including Beach Club, other than the usual hard to book rooms. In recent years BRV has had better 11-month availability for fall dates than most other resorts. What's up with the lack of BRV availability? Is DVC removing inventory to prepare for the upcoming refurbishment? Thoughts anyone?

Rooms being out of commission is a possible explanation. If studios start reappearing once the 11 months window passes, then problem is walking, but since this is not happening at other resorts, it shouldn't be the main problem.

That happened to me earlier this year when I wanted to book at BRV. Then BAM...a month later all of the sudden studios were wide open again in my window. Most folks said they originally took them out of commission for refurbishment, then put them back in when refurbishment got delayed. So, that might be why...maybe they are taking them out again for refurbishment. I don't think it's walking, usually that's not a big problem at BRV.

Leading up to December there will probably be quite a bit of walking of BRV studios (that's what availability appears to be). There could be some inventory removed but hopefully that will happen earlier than Nov/Dec.

BRV is getting a refurb in 2022. They probably have very low inventory for the later 2022 months.
