:surfweb:We rcieved multiple emails from disney with the 20/30/40% discounts for dates covering most of 2010. I asked my TA for a quote for July 14 - July 22, to stay at Coronado Springs.

I got a return email from the TA saying we saved almost 400$ with the pin code. This made me curious and confused:confused3 as I had done the math and based upon room only rate, we should have save 532$.

I emailed the TA and asked about the discrepency, and recieved a response saying she was arguing with Disney about the Pin code and was being told that the pin # wasnt for the whole year despite the fact that the email said it was. This makes absolutly no sense as we recieved what works out to be a 20% discount, thus the code must be good for the year

:confused3 now im really confused :confused3 how can this be, is anyone else having any trouble with the application of this pin code$, i dont know if my TA is screwing up, disney is screwing up or someone is being dishonest?

Any comments would be appreciated. :thumbsup2

That's really strange. I had my TA apply the pincode I got yesterday to my existing reservation at CSR for April and when I crunched the numbers myself, it came out to only a $5 difference between what the TA says I should pay and what I came up with, so I figured I probably messed up my math somewhere. According to my calculations, then I definitely got the 30% discount. I saved just over $550. Hope you get it resolved and have a great trip at CSR.

are you calculating in the tax?

The other thing I was thinking was the weekend rates vs. the weekday rates... did you make sure and get those right? :confused3 With that and tax, it might be around $100 or so.

Also make sure they are quote the correct level of room (standard vs water view) and also make sure that insurance is not added. The insurance defaults to being added many times.
