What's up with disney dining?

I am sure the Chad that I found was not the same one mentioned on this thread - I have a feeling there were services offered on that site that would not make these family boards...

WOW sorry , he works for disney dining, at least thats his day job! Any way he e-mailed me a full schedual of what is going on at DL when I will be there, including a page with info on the jr chef on main st. Menus from all places I have a PS at and some pictures of the food. If you need help he is truely an expert there and extra friendly Chad.A.Adams@disney.com. Sorry for the trauma!

I had a bit of a different experience with them in December. We stopped by Disneyland for the day on our way home from San Diego and I was lucky enough at the end of the day to be able to sweet talk my husband into a last minute overnight at the DLH. It was around 7:30 as I was checking us in and he was getting our car from the parking lot and I called Disney Dining. (They are programmed into my phone also ) The person on the phone told me there were absolutely no reservations left for the evening and that the stand by wait time for Goofy's Kitchen was 11/2 hours and since they closed at 9 I would have to try back some other time. I hung up and walked over to GK and asked if I could get a reservation for 8 and they said no problem and could have actually taken us in right that minute. I was pretty ticked at DD but glad I made the effort to walk over and see if I couldn't get in.

Ok I thought so too , actually I am going to investigate that later. I know he plays on that team............I was so tempted to tell him what comes up when he is googled , but maybe he already knows!
