this month's clubhouse mentions some upcoming news "All this, plus the announcement of a long-awaited Member perk".
what's this all about?are we finally getting park discounts?

I noticed the same thing and was wondering the same as you. I know if it isn't something really good, there will be a serious letdown. How often do they announce that there will be a "long-awaited" perk in advance? It has to be a good one.

I'll be there is four days but thankfully I still have my AP's that I bought earlier this year, so this trip I won't have to worry about.

I just thought it was more evidence to support our "theory" that something will be announced at the annual meetings.

I hope it is a discount on park admission media, too - especially hoping for one on APs/PAPs

Remember the speculation a few weeks ago about another offsite DVC, and we were told to "Think Big"

whatever that meant (NY????)....

Maybe something to do with that.

BUT I'm hoping for the APs and / or FOTL.

PS: No, i don’t spend my vacation online (when i get a vacation) But Email and AIM is essential even on vacation. Mostly job related, but it helps keep in touch with parents also. Just don’t really feel like paying 10 bucks to check my email!

Quilted TP? What are we, DVC or a bunch of delicate flowers? When I was a kid, we used newspaper, uphill, both ways, in a snowstorm, and we were happy.

I know that Disney thinks it's clever to run "teaser marketing" like this, but unless they really have something special lined up for us I think it's a big mistake on their part.

Here we are, all getting worked up over potential new perks and it might be something that few of us would want to use.

Me? I'm thinking they're going to offer "length of contract" park passes....wonder how much a 37 year pass would cost?

Edit: Oops, I didn't see the other posts giving the details of the new perk. I think it's great news!
