What's this "free dining" thing in september??

For the past 2 years disney has offered a free dining promo for september guests. They have even went to far to offer a bounceback program where if you stayed at disney during september- october (hope I got it right here) you could book a room for next september and get the free dining once again. There probably is a good chance that the free dining promo will be offered for next september as well and this will be announced come April 2008- not trying to lead to speculation though!!

The reason I ask is this: We are staying at AKL for our honeymoon in January 2008 and want to go back in 2009 but can't decide when. That's why i wondered because I would love to go in september of 2009 if we could get free dining....

Just keep checking the DISBoards, people here know when the "free dining" announcements come out. Most likely, it will be in April of 2008 for August-September, 2008. If you want to go in 2009, IF it's going to happen, and you won't know for sure until then, check here in April of 2009.

It is part of a package deal and you will be paying rack rate for the room. You can't use any discount codes for the package and you will be required to have at least a 1 day park ticket for each person in your party. Full payment on a package is due 45 days before your trip and there will be cancellation and change fees for the period between 45 days and the day you arrive.

Free dining would greatly impact our decision to go during september - if this is offered, is it offered to everyone?? Also, can you upgrade from the regular free dining plan to the deluxe for an additional charge??
