.....................brand name of the new sleeper sofa's that Disney is using at SSR and is starting to put in the older resorts? We are looking for a new sleeper sofa and would love to get something without the bar in the middle.

Sorry no one is answering you. I have no idea the brand WDW uses, but I must suggest you check Lazy Boy. They have a sleeper that has an air matress top that you inflate. It feels great, plus it goes up real high so it feels more like the height of a real bed! I did not buy one, got a cheaper one, and I am sorry (though I did get a foam topper for our hide a bed for when mom visits!) Hope you get the answer you are looking for!

They are Broyhills. I went checking to get one at our local distributors, but broyhill has two kinds of sofabeds (matress types) and none of the dealers had samples of either.

It is also possible that Broyhill is only making that style of couch exclusively for DVC though.

Call the resort directly and see if you can speak to a manager. My Mom slept great at OKW (she has back problems) and called them to get the info on their bedding. The manager was very helpful and Mom went out and spent a fortune on the very same bedding, which she is thrilled with. I thnk it was made my Sealy.

We were told at SSR that these were designed exclusively for Disney. I am not sure which manufacturer.

My husband has back problems and also slept great at Disney. I was told the mattress was made by Sealy, so I called them. I was told the mattress is made specifically for Disney and that there was no comparable Sealy mattress available to the public. . I would imagine the sleeper sofa's are the same. Too bad they don't start a direct order buisness.

Does anyone know if these sofa sleepers have replaced the sofa sleepers at BCV's? I know that eventually they are going to replace all of the sleepers at all of the DVC resorts but I don't know when. We're going to be at BCV's in a couple of weeks and it would be nice if they had these nice new sleepers in the studios by then.
