what's the worst thing you've eaten at wdw?

Chicken salad at Liberty Inn at the American Pavillion. I think it is the only awful meal I have had at WDW (I am not counting things that were just not to my taste as I can't say that food is bad if it's just a matter of me not caring for the flavors).

What was worse was it was the SLOWEST service and it wasn't THAT busy. We waited 40 minutes in a not so long line and the lettuce was limp, chicken dry and tasted weird ..... Yuck. Bypassed the toppings bar to the trashcan!

San Angel Inn.. We could have done without.
Fun atmosphere, but the food didn't really work for us.

Chicken Curry at the ABC Commissary and a weird parfait for desert. yuck.

This stuff is way nasty! My DS got it (I begged him not too) and the smell was enough to make the rest of us not want to eat. He trashed it and got a burger (like I told him to do to begin with). This was 3 trips ago and we still talk about the chicken curry, it was that bad.

I'm not a terribly picky person, but the chicken nuggets at Cosmic Rays on the kids meal were horrible - the 'chicken' looked like a little white sponge, full of tiny holes. I have NO idea what it really was, apart from inedible. And kind of scary :scared1:.

KC:santa:

Everything I tried last July at Le Cellier. I had the Filet, the cheese soup and the choclate mousse.. The first two were so incredible salty- they were impossible to eat( kinda like a mouthful of ocean.) The dessert was cute but tasteless. I was so excited as well after all the hype here..
Oh and BTW, I tried the soup again when I was at F&W in Oct- it was just as salty.

Mac n cheese from Wolfgang Puck Express, seriously the stuff in the box w/ powder cheese is better than that!

And anything from Pepper Market at CSR. We've tried there 3 times and never again. Absolutely horrid!

The worst was a rotten green bean salad (literally) at Contempo Cafe, because it could have harmed me if I ate it.

Next would be an inedible extra-well-done steak at San Angel Inn (even though I ordered medium rare). It's a shame that such a beautiful place serves such horrible food. From the commercial-grade chips and salsa at the beginning to the grainy and curdled flan at the end, my last (and final) meal there was unacceptable. The restroom should have had a "Hazmat Suit Required" sign. Hopefully, the condition of the john was just a fluke.

Also, I know people love them, but I think many of the baked goods and confections throughout the parks are quite bad. Maybe that's just because I have too many pastry chefs in my circle of friends.

For my family, it was the mac-n-cheese at Liberty Tree. That seriously was the WORST mac-n-cheese we have ever tried in our lives. We will stick to KRAFT any day,,,,yummm

I LOVE egg rolls and I bought one from the cart in MK near the carpets of Aladin. What a waste of money and time in line. It was the most discusting thing I have ever had. One bite and it was in the trash.

I have a few to contribute:

The Lobster at Narcoosee's was sour and rubbery, too bad i didnt know any better i would've sent it back, i just though i must not like lobster.

Prime rib at CRT too salty to eat, nightmare service "would it be ok if we seated you with another family, we dont have any 2 person tables" -because they overbooked!! so much for a romantic night before our polynesian wedding.. so no we're not sitting with strangers!

Ribs at WCC, too fatty to eat in the skillet

all the food besides mac and cheese and corn dog nuggets at Tusker House

the nasty prepackaged cookie at the Japanese QS

the cheese plate at Narcoosee's.. after being excited about cheese plates b/c the first one we had at Chefs de France was outstanding, omg good.. this was beyond nasty and i couldnt get the gross taste out of my mouth fast enough!! ewww

oh and the too nasty to eat salad at Mama Melrose! I was soo happy the waitress asked how it was b/c i told her i didnt like it one bit and she was nice enough to give me the mozzarella appetizer like my DH had, which i was eating 1/2 of, for free. Thanks!

amazing,so much of what we like has been listed...;) but what we HATE? anything from ABC commissary...... awful food!
San Angel Inn, last there more than 8 years ago, never again.
France bakery, kind of...ew. used to be awesome, not anymore.
we love Boma, Dole whips, the cs in Mexico,Norway bakery....

The Teriyaki strip steak at Kona last week! DD and DH also had them and theirs were cooked to perfection, however I like my steak well done and this steak was cremated!!! I couldn't eat it and this was the chef's second attempt at cooking it!! :confused3

The only truly bad meal we have ever had at Disney was at Pecos Bill's. It was our first meal on our last trip, three years ago, and it was just dreadful. The burgers were dry and tasteless. The kids weren't really expecting their meal of cold chicken strips with no breading, sugar-free Jell-o and a stick each of carrot and celery. Not exactly a magical start to our trip. This was only a few weeks after they had changed to the healthy kids meals, but we wised up quickly and always asked for fries with their meals after that! Still, the food was sub-par. We even found the fixings bar lacking that night. May have been a fluke, but even the kids say they never want to eat there again.

And everyone says how great the ribs and milkshakes are! The ribs were very fatty and gross. The milkshakes tasted like it was nothing but corn syrup and strawberry nestle quick. Just gross, gross, gross.

At home, we have wonderful tender, meaty, delicious ribs... not something that was like fat on a bone.

And how hard is it to make a HOME MADE milkshake.... Blend real ice cream, milk, fruit of flavored syrup. That's it, not rocket science. People who love Sci-Fi milkshakes must have never had a milkshake other than McDonalds.

Chef Mickey's dinner. So gross!

I also thought the chicken from WCC skillet was nasty but liked everything else.

I thought the pizza from Pizza Planet was the only edible pizza on property and quite good actually.
