What's the Worst Restaurant in all of WDW?

This is all a matter of opinion, so dont take it to heart.

I didnt have a bad meal while I was there on our last trip, but the worst meal - BY FAR - of the trip was......................................

I know - crazy - everyone loves it. I didnt get the hype and would never go back.

OH NO! I was hopeful! I love to make it at home, and hoped it would be yummy!

We make it quite a bit at home too and the pot roast at R&C just wasn't very tasty at all. I really can't speak for the other menu items as we only went once and will not be back. The server was very polite though, so it wasn't a service issue just a matter of taste. I'll be trying the pot roast at 50's prime time cafe next time we head down in Dec. as it is supposed to be very good there.

WDW pizza at most any place. It's simply the worst I've had, anywhere. It's even worse than the cheap $1 pizza at Walmart.

The worst restaurant I've ever eaten in is San Angel Inn. Oddly enough, I didn't mind H&V when we ate there five years ago. We're planning lunch at H&V for the characters. I hope it hasn't gotten worse over the years.

We've eaten at many restaurants at WDW and the worst by far was 50's PT. That food was awful!!! Our server really didn't fit the atmosphere either and she didn't want to bring DS18 two different drinks even though I was paying for it and I said it was fine. She kept trying to make him choose one!! If she was playing like most servers do, then it would have been fine, but she was just hounding him!!!

I love to read all of these opinions. I don't think there is a place that we would refuse to eat, but we will avoid a few because we choose to go to others.

Cape May Cafe- althought at least 3 families that are friends tell us that it is their one "can't miss" place, we did not care for it at all. We wonder if we caught them on a bad night.

Chef Mickey's- we will go there with our kids because of the atmosphere, but the food is decent at best. On the other hand, the service we have had is the best anywhere.

*I know this thread isn't about places we like, but since we like some places that are mentioned here...

'Ohanas- our favorite. The service isn't the best, but my opinion about a restaurant is based on the food, not the server. I read that some had issues with the food, but the 2 times we have been there the food was incredible. Nothing under or overcooked. All the grilled shrimp you can eat? Plus steak? Who can ask for more?

Crystal Palace- ate their last month for our only time. It wasn't the best ever, but we liked it. The service was pretty bad, but again, it's about the food for us. I did expect it to be just like Chef Mickey's, so maybe our expectations were just low. Not going there with my DW next year, but will take our kids there next time we take them.

ABC Commissary- wouldn't make my top 10 favoriate, but didn't hate it either. have had the cuban sandwhich twice while the rest of the family had pizza from Toy Story Pizza. I liked the sandwhich, but I have never had a cuban any place else, so perhaps I don't know what I'm talking about.

Flame Tree BBQ and Cosmic Rays- among our favorites for CS. Unofficial guide also recommends them

I'll be trying the pot roast at 50's prime time cafe next time we head down in Dec. as it is supposed to be very good there.

We really enjoyed the pot roast at 50's Prime Time Cafe last summer, so I asked for the recipe and was given it on a card. We use the recipe at home -- it's very easy and never disappoints.

The only bad meal we've had at WDW was at Yakatori House in Japan in 2005. Food was nasty tasting, nasty looking, & the restaurant was dirty.

In my admittedly limited experience confined to PARK restaurants, the worst (or most disappointing) for me was Pinocchio Village House. I know its only a CS place and my expectations were (I thought) adjusted for that. But there was little appealing on the menu and what I had was not that good.

For those who might think I just dont like CS--I DO like Pecos Bill, Cosmic Rays, Sunshine Seasons, Electric Umbrella, and especially Flame Tree BBQ. I am looking forward to trying Columbia Harbor House and several CS places in the Epcot countries next time.

Columbia Harbor House is VERY good. We always eat there! The fish and chips at Great Britian is good as well.

Liberty Tree Tavern was our worst meal ever! The meat was dry and tasteless! The salad was good but would not just go for the salad and bread. We went before MVMCP! Never again!

Cosmic Rays: We went off season and the only had one bar open, limited food options and the place was filthy - nasty. I can understand limiting the food choices because there's less of a crowd, but the filth?

9 Dragons: Also filthy dirty and food wasn't that amazing.
