What's the word out there????

Vanilla Coke has just hit our shores & we bought a bottle yesterday as 13yr DS was wanting to try it. Well he did just that last night & ended up tipping it down the sink. So I guess that means he's not fussed. He tried to get DH & myself to taste it ,but we both said no. He tried his brother too, who usually will try anything & got nowhere with him too.

Soooooooooo I thought I'd put it to all of you out there.................

What is the verdict on Vanilla Coke...................

Who likes it & who doesn't??

My 9 yo dd is hooked on it. I haven't tried it. I've heard it tastes like Barq's cream soda. I like cream soda.

i LOVE it!! If i had to choose between regular coke and vanilla coke, i would choose vanilla coke. It just tastes better!!

My 14yo DS also wanted to try it. He didn't like it. So, I had 11 cans left over for his party and, a few more people 'tried' it but, I didn't hear anyone rave about it. There's 3 cans left. Who wants em?!?!

Being a Diet Coke drinker, I would drink it as a dessert! It's so rich and creamy that I couldn't drink a whole one. I bet it would make an awesome ice cream float.

it's aiite, but the consensus among my friends seems to be that it's great.

Vanilla Coke is OK, but it still has a cola taste, which I don't like. I don't think it tastes anything like Barq's Creme Soda (or any other brand that I've tasted).

DP Red Fusion... that's some good stuff!

DocRafiki - they would agree about DP Red Fusion - they love that stuff.

I like it but for me it is more of a dessert than something to drink with a meal... it's just too sweet. Honestly we tried it right after it came out and we both didn't really care for it... tried it again a short while later and it was better. Same thing happend with DH and the Pepsi Blue. I wonder if the first few batches aren't as good as later ones

Kozmiclee... yes it does work great for an ice cream float. give it a try.

My DS (8) loves the stuff, but he loves the Vanilla Coke Slurpees even more.

I thought it was way too sweet and didn't finish the only bottle I tried.

Too sweet.

Cam didn't care for it either Nutsy, and nothing ever seems to be too sweet for that kid. The Pepsi Blue wasn't much of a hit with him either.

I didn't like it at all; poured most of a 2 liter bottle down the drain. At least it had been on sale.

No Pepsi Blue on our shores yet....................................I hate to imagine what will happen when that is spotted. He will want to try that too..............

I still haven't tried it.......................nor has anyone else in the household...............wonder why??
