Whats the weather like in Orlando just now?

We fly out for two weeks on Friday. My weather app says that the weather in Orlando is currently 80% thunder storms for the next two weeks. Is there anyone out there who can tell me What the weather is like at the moment ?

It is hot with storms most afternoons. They are pop up storms so you may or may not see them but the weather forecast will show storms.

It's perfectly normal to see weather predictions like that. In reality, it means usually one thunderstorm a day and sun the rest of the time.

Usually hot and very humid and then a thunderstorm for about an hour around 4pm

Thanks. We have only ever visited in August and he weather has been exactly as you all describe.... Hot, humid and dramatic hour long thunder storms most afternoons. What I really want to know, from someone there at the moment, if this is the case just now.

I am not there but have friends who live there and I can confirm it is

We got back a week ago- although the forecast said there was going to be a storm everyday, I'd say we only had 3 or 4 storms over the two weeks we were there, and they generally didn't last too long either. I hope you have a great trip!

It depends on where "there" is. Let me tell you that it can be raining in MK and sunny at Epcot....storming at HS and clear in DTD. Florida weather is weird, wild and wonderful. I live about 80 miles from WDW and have had it raining in my front yard (front garden?) and dry in the back.

We're here now and yes, that's the general gist. In the last week we've had two days with no rain at all, 4 with an hour of intermittent but heavy rain and 2 days of 3 hours of rain all afternoon or early evening. Local forecasts say the next week is trending towards hotter and less rain (30% chance)

We saw a spectacular storm over Epcot - whilst sat in brilliant sunshine!

Here in Vero Beach, not that far away from Orlando, on this morning's weather they reported only a 20% chance of rain for the next few days with temps of 92/93, but will feel hotter - and we get a (very) little sea breeze here.

Making the most of the early mornings - sitting out on balcony right now listening to waves crashing - because soon too hot for me
