What's the verdict on shipping water to resorts?

On our last trip in Jan '09 we did the water shipped from Costco to POR. We'll be at CBR this time and I know I've seen some debate on whether or not we're still able to ship water down.

I am sure others will have a more recent experience, but we shipped water from Costco in October to GF with no problems at all. There were no extra fees at that time, either.

It depends where you stay. We had to pay at Beach club but not at AKL and OKW. I'm pretty sure you have to pay if the hotel you are staying at has a conference center, or at least something along those lines. Call the hotel to verify before you have it shipped.

I shipped water from Costco to CBR in August with no problems. Well, I take that back...bell services had a problem our first day finding the package. I called the next morning hoping to get a different employee just for a new set of "eyes". It was delivered to our room while we were in the parks that day.

we used Turner drug on our last trip.
super easy, we just called the first day there, left for the parks, the water was delivered about an hour later.
resort just added it to our bill. I would use them again.

How many days before leaving to recommend placing the order with Costco?

Costco takes about 3 days. We usually order on Monday if arriving on Friday/Saturday.

We have been charged the 'convention fee' of $10 at BLT and BWV; I've heard the same for CSR. No charge at any of the other resorts.
