Whats the secret to getting ressies at Cinderellas Castle for breakfast?

Dumb me, I was going to book for Dec 4 this morning, forgot all about it. Called just a little bit ago and Dec 4 and 5 both booked. So I will try early tommorow morning for the 6th. Any suggestions on what time to call and any buttons to push on the phone when I do.

I did this last year, start calling about 5 minutes till 6 am Florida time and be on a phone that has speed dial. If it is busy, hit flash and redial until you get a ring. As soon as you hear a real voice have the date and time you want ready so they can type it in. Say, Cinderella's Royal Table, Dec. 6th ,8 am. If it takes more than 3 minutes to get through from the top of the hour you probably won't have a chance but Grab whatever they offer because if you ask for a different time than the one they offer the original offer is given to someone else. If you get to 8 am seating you can be finished with your meal at 9 am and out to Fantasyland and onto the rides with no waiting. We rode Snow White, It's a Small World, Winnie the Pooh and Peter Pan several times with no wait and then went over to ride Buzz a few times. That was what was so great about the 8 am time. I think there is a forum about this somewhere here.
I think they require a credit card now so have that ready, too.

I called a week ago and was so lucky I got in. When the cast member came on the line I blurted out "Cinderella, party of 5, earliest availble please and she totally understood. She was just as fast as I was and I thanked her a bunch after. Just remember every second counts so you can cut the CM short and thank her after too. Good Luck

One other thing. If you dont get it on the first try, call back in a couple of days. I got a ressie on the first try , but it was for a late time (9:30). For the heck of it, I called back a couple of days later to see if anything else had opened up, and I had my choice of times from 8-9. This haooens all the time at most of the restaurants. People book several ressies, and then cancel them later.

Maybe it has changed but I thought they opened at 7:00 AM so you would call at 5 minutes before 7:00 AM Florida time, not 6:00 AM. Someone please confirm?

I believe that the time is still 7AM Eastern time, and when I tried it, they opened the lines at 7AM on the dot. You might try calling after midnight EST, and you should get a recording telling you the hours of operations.

I was trying for a later time so that I could do some rides and grab a fast pass before breakfast. I got my reservations the first time I tried . Then I tried a couple of days later for an EMH day and got that too (of course I cancelled the first reservation). I just redialed until I hear something other that the recording you hear before before the lines open. Once I got a "real voice", but once I got the recording that all cast members were helping other guests. I strongly recommend that you don't hang up if you get this recording. Just cross your fingers and you should be helped shortly. Good luck.

No luck Hung on the phone for 20 minutes. CM said they had 150 people on hold. I called 5 mins. til 7 and hit redial several times after. Got thru to recording at 7 sharp but put on hold. Will try tommorow.
By the way, has anyone done the Princess Breakfast at Epcot? If so how was it, did you have troublwe getting ressies,etc.?

YES!!!!
You will love the Epcot breakfast. WE did!! There are some people in our party that liked it more than Cindy's. I think it is a great one to do. Not AS exciting as your little girl eating in the caste, but would be a great addition or substitute in its place.

jimmy, if you get the message about all cast members helping other guests, that means you are in queue to get answered. Dont hang up. Last time I called, I was on hold for 40 minutes bhefore I got answered (made me late for work...). Stay on the line and dont give up. Remember, not everyone is cdalling for Cindy's.

I did both the Epcot Princess Breakfast and CRT. They are very similar in food quality and presentation (i.e. not great if you don't like grease). The service at Epcot was fabulous. Another plus was the hostess decided that my 12-year old would be 11 for the day (i.e., they gave us the child's price; CRT did not). The characters are similar although I understand Cinderella will not appear at the Epcot breakfast. It's not too hard to find Cinderella elsewhere though. It was definitely easier to get the Epcot breakfast, but it does sell out fast as well. You might also be more likely to get in on a cancellations there since some people may make reservations for it when they can't get CRT the first try, and then cancel after they get a later CRT.

If you can get CRT, why not do breakfast at Epcot and do lunch or dinner in the castle.

I agree with CalGal. Having done both, I find that they are somewhat even in terms of characters and food. The breakfast at Epcot though is strictly princesses. You wont meet any other characters. Cindy's usually has Prince Charming, Mary Poppins, Peter Pan, among others.

One other thing to consider. There is something very special and magical about eating in the castle. We found that the wait staff at the castle was very funny and really got the kids involved.

Either one is certainly worth the time and price, but if you have never eaten at the castle, you should do it at least once.

I did this last year and practiced a few times before my actual dates. I was unable to get it the first few times until I called reservations and someone gave me a few tips.
1. Use the Weather Channel's clock.
2. By using speed dial...time how long it takes once you dial to actually get connected to CRO.
3. Mine was 10 seconds, so when the weather channel's clock said 6:59:50 that is when I pushed the button to start the speed dial.

WE GOT IT!!!!!!!!!

Started calling at 10 til 7 this morning. Between DW and myself, had 3 different phoones going at the same time. Had to hit #1 then got a CM right away. Got an 8:05. We are so excited!!
