What's the scariest movie you've ever seen?

My friends think I'm crazy but the Grudge creeps :scared1: me out. That kid and the sound he makes gives me nightmares. I can't even see the commercials without freaking out.:scared:

Hey, no one's mentioned "Child's Play" wtih Chucky??!!?? :rotfl:

A little possessed doll doesn't scare anyone? ;)

Nattevagten and It are the two movies that really terrified me. The Exorcist didn't scare me at all.

Im such a wimp. I got freaked out on the Halloween episode of Little House on The Prairie :rotfl2: I know, Im pathetic

Amityville Horror to this day freaks me out. Only watched it once. I swear I needed therapy after that one.

That horrible spider movie. You know the one. The giant spider on Bill whathisnames face. Spiders have no chance at my house. Im a gun slingin Raid Machine.

I know this isnt a scary movie but Schindlers list scared the poopies out of me. The horror of what happened to the Jewish people was awful.

To the person who put that scary face on this thread..........YOU ARE PURE EVIL

Hey now, I have really been holding back. Would you like me to post the house from Amityville?? :teeth: How about links to the music from some of these movies?? :rotfl: Seriously, the music sometimes gets to me more than the scenes. :scared:

"Silence of the Lambs" because people are really nuts and it could really happen! I was freaked for weeks that someone would kidnap me and skin me to make a dress :rotfl:

I have never seen the movie "The Exorcist", but I remember hearing it advertised on the radio when I was about 10 years old. I read the book when I was in HS & hid it from my parents.

The movie that freaked me out the most was Nightmare on Elm Street. Partially because I had to walk home from my friend's house after watching it & I lived on Elm Street. I just knew that Freddie was going to jump out & slash me to pieces any second!!

I watched it again not too long ago just to see JD's character...I found out it still scares me. A cat jumped in my lap & both the cat & my popcorn went flying!

I am not a fan of horror movies at all so many of the ones that have affected me the most wouldn't even classify as horror. The ones that have stayed with me the most are:

It (yes, it was a TV movie but I'm still afraid of shower drains)

Carrie (That stupid hand at the end. Scarred me for life)

Watcher in the Woods (made me afraid of triangles for a while)

and

Something Wicked This Way Comes ( :scared: The guy on the carousel. . . :scared1: )

I love horror movies and the whole halloween season. The movies dont scare me. But when I was younger I saw the movie "When a Stranger Calls Back". It was the sequel to "When a Stranger Calls". The parts that scared me were when he had all the makup on and blended into the wall or the dark. Then he would open his eyes and thats all you saw. I could not go into our basement alone after that.

The Omen ~ I was sooo spooked after that, particularly the scene with the glass and head.

The original Exorcist still scares the pooh out of me. :scared1:

Then there's The Ring... I LOVE that movie, because it's not a slasher lets-show-as-much-gore-as-we-can kind of horror movie. I had bad dreams for a week after watching that movie. :scared:

This is the one that terrified me...I started watching it at night, alone, with all of the lights out and quickly realized that if I was going to get any sleep that night, I'd better turn it off and watch it the next day in broad daylight!

I watched this one for the first time on Halloween last year...and I ended waking up from being dead asleep at 3:15 that morning...the same time that the man in the movie kept waking up.

Oh my goodness...I about wet my pants when I looked over at the clock and saw what time it was!!!

This one might be pretty scary ....
