Was wondering what the most anyone has ever paid for a package at Disney as I am being quoted $7010 for 10 nights at SSR for 2 adults and 1 child from 17th to 27th Dec in a 1 bed with DDP. Last year I paid $2900 for 8 nights on the same package from 19th Dec. I did have 40% offer. Would be interested to know if anyone was actually prepared to pay $7000 for 3 people as I just couldn't bring myself to. Also the CM said that they were hopeful that there would be a AP rate that would cover the holiday period like there was in previous years. I used this in 2006 and got AP rate for my whole stay at FW from 19th Dec to 27th.
Thanks

That is definately out of my price range and I have a family of 5.

I try to stay under $4,000.00 including airfare which currently will be 1500.00 for all 5 of us to fly. I also cut down costs, by traveling during non peak seasons and stay in a Value.

I know for some people it is very difficult not vacation during non peak seasons, we are lucky that we can which definately saves us money.

That seems a little pricey to me...but we have never done more than 7 nights. If you break it down, it basically costs you $233.66 per person, per day. You said that includes dining, so I don't think that's too outrageous...but then again I am from the North East, where EVERYTHING is wicked expensive!! Does that include airfare, too? If it did, I would say that's not such a bad deal

You are looking at 10 nights in a deluxe resort during one of the most expensive and popular and busy seasons. With the new daily pricing no matter you will pay more than you did last year during that season would be my guess.
