What's the most "rare" character you've met?

if you want to see "yellow" rabbit, he sometimes shows up as poohs friend at the grand floridian breakfast and sometimes fills in if piglet eeyore or tigger can't make the Crystal Palace breakfast, but it is very rare. I personaly love his costume.

Is he rare? I didn't know that. We met him last year.

indeed I am one in the same. Guess what, when you asked about the Cars characters you hit it on the head. They are comming, and no they are not costumes, they are actual cars that move their mouths eyes and everything. Basicaly driving puppets. They will be on the streets of newyork.

I thought you were one and the same! I think people may be a little friendlier here on the Dis, but I've never actually posted on that sight...only lurked. Cool! I was wondering how they were going to do the Cars thing. I know my boys and my dh (a hot rod guy) will totally be into that movie. Since you have the name Figment, how often does Figment actually meet and greet and where? I've heard he's sometimes over by the ride, but I've never seen him there. My youngest is a huge Figment fan. :figment:

We got Gaston and the triplets. Also the townspeople were out from Beauty and the Beast. Belle and Beast were out but we had already met them in France so me met the others while everyone else lined up for the stars. The Beauty and the Beast show got cancelled for some reason at MGM and they let you line up to meet the cast instead. That was pretty cool My son said Gaston was actually pretty nice!
We've also met Abu, Tarzan and Jane. Got Belle in her gold gown at Cinderella castle.

Rabbit does not get out often, but he is so popular when he is out! I was watching Rabbit out meeting at the ToonTown Train Station, and every kid did the same thing when approaching the area - they look around, see Rabbit, scream "There's Rabbit!!" and runs right over to him! He always seemed to be the character that caught all children's attention first! :)

The other thing about Rabbit is sometimes he has a tuft of hair, and sometimes he doesn't! :scratchin

Wow, I'm so honored to have met a lot of the characters people are mentioning.

After waiting for 45 minutes for Figment in Dec. 2004 after a CM said he would be out "in a few minutes" and missing him, I finally met him in August (just in time I see).

My mom has pictures I want to scan of me and my twin brother and older sister with "space" Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, and Donald at Epcot. Also, another post mentioned the Dreamfinder with a puppet Figment. We have a picture of that too.

I mentioned on another post meeting the Big Bad Wolf at MNSSHP. That was very cool.

I met Jiminy at Epcot in May 2003, only time I've ever met him.

I've had a few people send me messages about Darkwing Duck (since the pic of him and I is in my signature). I always love meeting him and Launchpad, because I loved DWD and "Ducktales" as a kid. I also like meeting Chip and Dale dressed as "Rescue Rangers," from the 80s cartoon (I've met them in Adventureland near Aloha Isle).

I met Rabbit in January at Toontown Station.

I met Olie at DCA in 2003.

Stanley at AK (I was so excited. I think Stanley may have been weirded out that I knew who he was, since I'm 25!). I know he's usually at Rafiki's Planet Watch, but I don't go there, and I met him near the entrance to AK.

Oh, also like another post I have a shot of me at the tender age of 17 with Michaelangelo from the Ninja Turtles...that was cool.

I met Meg and Herc in 2000.

Clopin in January 2003 - I asked him if he was having a Topsy Turvy day. Gosh I'm witty :)

Sheriff of Nottingham with Friar Tuck in January 2003 (it was dead and it seemed like everyone was out on that trip!)

Bullseye at MNSSHP this past October 2 (to be precise).

Jafar in December 2001 (at the old queue for 20000 Leagues, back when there were characters there - he tried to steal my Millionaire 1000 point hat!)

I would seriously hop on a plane and rush to MGM if someone told me Kermit and Piggy were out - or even better, Sam the Eagle! I love the Muppets! I also wish Bear from Bear in the Big Blue House came out. I love Bear!

Okay, that's my long list. I feel so lucky to have met these characters! I need to post some of these pics online. :woohoo:

I've been lucky enough to get my photo with most of my favorite villain types, including Maleficent and the Wicked Queen from Snow White (in both her forms!). I've even seen all seven dwarves together, but unfortunately wasn't quick enough with the camera to get them all posing together. Had to settle for individual photo-ops with Grumpy, Dopey and Sleepy.
But here's a question for all you character hunters: Has anyone ever seen the Badger from Winne the Pooh? The Hundred Acre Wood gang is DH's fave, and we'd love to find him (and Rabbit, too -- I've only ever seen him in a parade).
Thanks,
Q

do you mean gopher? Bear does come out but usualy only for the make a wish foundation kids and by very special request. You got to remember he is not a fur character but a very big, and very expensively elaborate puppet.

I have met Thumper...

It was the day Bambi was released on DVD. Thumper was coming out, just as we were leaving Animal Kingdom. I grabbed my dad and dragged him over. I so excited to meet him that I was hopping up and down! Mind, I was 30 at the time. I thought that my parents were going to drop dead of embarassment.

For all of you who have met Rabbit (from Winnie the Pooh), I am so jealous! B'rer Rabbit, White Rabbit, and Rabbit are on my must meet list...if I ever do, I will be so excited! Hopefully, it comes about!

ttfn,
Tara

Back in like 1991 I had a pic taken with Chewbacca over by Star Tours. Not sure if he still comes out but I love that picture and he was SO TALL!

Allyson :)

Brer Rabbit

In 2004 we were at MVMCP waiting for the fireworks. DS and I went to get hot chocolate and left DH holding our spots. On the way we spotted Brer Rabbit and Brer Bear in front of the Riverboat Landing. Needless to say, the hot chocolate was forgotten. There were not many people in line and the two really took their time with DS. I have about 5-6 "playful" pics of them with DS and a "poser" pic. When we got back, DH wanted to know where the hot choc was and "what in the world took so long?" When we told him who we saw, he was mad that he did not go with us!!! :goodvibes

2003 was the first time we had ever seen Daisy, and she was with Donald. They were doing pictures together. It was so cute. They are my favorite couple. We have seen her since, but not "with Donald".

We also have pictures with Koda and Kenai. We were at AK right before Brother Bear opened and we were first in line to meet them. :)

DH and I also have the pics with "space" Mickey, Minnie, etc from EPCOT from our honeymoon in 1991. :yay:

Among the characters mentioned, we saw Price Eric with Ariel in her grotto, Max with Goofy in the town square, and the Genie at Chef Mickey's when we went two weeks ago.

The Fairy Godmother also made an appearance at Cinderella's Royal Table.

Kanga hadn't been seen for a very long time, but there were reports of her by the Toontown Train Station this Jan. during training sessions.

Chewbacca and Most of the Star Wars Characters are out during Star Wars weekends at MGM.

Let me start by saying I am completely jealous of those who have gotten a chance to meet Gaston.

My list includes:
Olie and Zowie
Stanley
Prince Eric
Jiminy Cricket with Pinochio and Geppetto
Snow White Queen as the Old Hag, even offering us apples
All 7 dwarfs with Snow White (our best pic ever)
The Crocodile from Peter Pan, he was chasing Hook and Smee
Koira (sp?) from Atlantis, she is the girl with the white hair
Anastasia, Drizella and Lady Tremain (Cinderella's Evil Stepmom and Stepsisters)

Did I write Badger??? Oy. Senior moment alert. Yes, I meant Gopher... Any sightings?
Thanks.

We saw Jafar at the entrance to MGM Studios a few years ago.

I don't understand why Donald and Daisy citings are so rare. I've never understood why, for example, so many of the character breakfasts have Chip and Dale (does anyone really care that much about them?), but no Donald except at the Breakfastosaurus, and you rarely see him in the parks.

here is a rare one for you folks I'm just curious how many of you have acutaly seen her

Clariece. the female chipmunk. Oh yeas she exists but she's been in tokyo for quite a while.

psst. Shes comming back in the spring along with gaget.
