I packed everything for DD2 and DH one time, and packed everything for me, except underwear. It is a seriously bad feeling to step out of the shower, and realize you have nothing to step into.
I forgot to pack more than a day's worth of pants and shirts for my DH a few times on trips we have taken (never forgot the underwear and socks, though)
I'm letting him pack is suitcase for his business trip in Disney next month. I just have to remember to pack the rest of his stuff when I'm packing for my DS and I five days later, when we go down to meet up with him.
Forgot my daughter's contact lenses last trip, she was wearing her glasses that day....Luckily we had time to go back and get them and still make our flight but started the trip off in a panic. I never really relax until we get to the resort. I spend the entire plane ride worried about what I forgot!
Tent poles. Definitely the tent poles. Once on a trip to Ft. Wilderness, my family had just pulled into the campground after a ten hour drive and then what felt like hours waiting in the check-in line only to find that when we unpacked the van, not all of the tent had made it to Florida. It looked bad for a while since we had no idea what we were going to do and everybody was tired and frustrated, but it was all okay in the end since we ended up renting a tent from the Fort.
Now before every trip when the checklist is being made, tent poles are always first on the list
That seems to be a common forgotten item on this thread. LOL Question for those of you that forgot though...why not use condoms instead? Or did you just decide you didn't mind if you got pregnant or not?
Pads. I am a bit scared about our upcoming trip in December. Oldest DD started this year. Not something I am wanting to happen to either of us. It just seems like something that WOULD happen. Poor DH and DS, 2 weeks of hell out of the month.
for our honeymoon we had a three day layover at WDW before leaving to sandals ,so after a year and a half of planning . When we got to Orlando I realized I forgot the hopper passes . My now DW couldn't believe it but I had no problem with the situation because I knew that we could buy more there and that would assure me another trip to the happiest place on earth. but we ended up having the tickets overnighted. and yes we are still married
We have two Disney babies- one WDW boy and one Disneyland Paris girl. Both were intentional, though.
The worst item I have ever forgotten was our travel insurance documentation on honeymoon (which didn't technically affect WDW as we went there as the middle part of the honeymoon). DH ended up in a frightening hospital in St Lucia needing stiches in his leg after a sailing accident where he lost a fight with a coral reef, and then we had to pay a small fortune in Boston 2 weeks later for a doctor to take all of 30 seconds to pull the stitches out.
It did give us an excuse to return to WDW the next year, though as he'd spent the whole time there hobbling about in some pain.
