What's the most beautiful song you've ever heard?

Sigur Ros-Can't remember the name of the song, but they were in the soundtrack to Vanilla Sky. Song lasts a long time, probably 10 minutes, but it gives me the chills. People either love or hate this group.

The Church-Under the Milky Way. early 90s song. Played during first date with my future wife.

Arcade Fire-In the Back Seat. Song about losing someone who did everything for you (kind of from a young person's perspective). This is sung emotionally by the lead singer's wife.

I had forgotten my favorite song until I heard it on the radio today...I Honestly Love You sung by Olivia Newton John.

It came out at a time in my life when it fit what was happening to me. I still get melancholy when I hear it. All the water has now gone from under that bridge. It comes under the heading of, things I regret in my life. Hey, that would make a good thread!

"Perhaps Love" is close to that in my vote. Nice song.

My ds's 8th grade band played that at their christmas concert, and I must say it brought tears to my eyes.........I was laughing so hard because it sounded like a flock of dying chickens!

Well certainly God Only Knows by The Beach Boys is among the best ever. John Lennon's Imagine is up there too. Paul McCartney has a song called Here Today that is about his friendship with JL and it is chilling.
