What's the most awesome hotel window view you've ever had; anywhere?

I've had some really cool views but back in the day (2003) the 32nd floor view from Las Vegas's Monte Carlo Hotel/Casino over part of the strip and McCarran airport was pretty cool. It was probably the highest room view we ever had.

Our motel rooms of Mackinac Bridge, island and the Straits every year are way cool, too.

Although we've stayed a much nicer hotels (no way are WDW deluxe actual 4-stars), I have to grudgingly admit nothing has ever compared to opening the drapes at AKL and feeling like I was eye-to-eye with a couple of giraffes.

Sheraton on the Canada side of Niagara Falls -- beautiful view looking right out at Horseshoe Falls. Just stunning.

Most of mine are more local

We went to Osoyoos BC a few years ago and got a nice vineyard and lake view

Also Whistler ( no photo). We were booked for a lower level room and were upgraded to the top floor mountain view.

Pacific Ocean view rooms at Hyatt Huntington Beach and Hotel del Coronado. Also have a great view at the Grand Hyatt San Diego that over looked the bay & Coronado We also had a Strip/volcano view rooms at the Mirage in Vegas.

Kind of cheating, but Upper Pines Campground at Yosemite National Park. Pulled down the screen cover and I could see Half Dome.

I would say The Sheraton too, over looking Horse Shoe Falls at Niagra Falls on e Canadian side.
You could open your door to the balcony, but it had a huge gate in front of it.
The fire alarm did go off at 2:00 a.m. and we had to walk down the 22 floors.

Hanalei Plantation Resort on Kauai. It opened in 1961 and the bay was used to film South Pacific in 1957. The resort was a series of cottages, somehow we got the one closest to the beach. Of course, the main hotel was up a very steep hill, but they would send a shuttle down if you didn't want to walk. This was 1972. It apparently was turned into a Club Med Resort shortly after I stayed there, and best I can tell, closed.

We had a great view from our 32nd floor room at Vdara hotel in Las Vegas just last month. A wall of windows let us see mountains all the way across plus we could see 1/3 of the Bellagio fountains (backside) and the Eiffel Tower. I was happy!

Our most incredible view was probably from a floating hotel. We had a large aft (rear facing) balcony on a cruise to Alaska. Our breakfasts were spent on the balcony viewing sea life floating on the ice & wildlife in the snow capped mountains, all while being shielded from the wind. We had lunch on the balcony pulling away from Hubbard Glacier. It was truly a magical experience.
