I busted my behind for the past 3 weeks or so redecorating and cleaning and getting the house ready for two Easter dinners (one Sat. and one Sun.) It is finally all over and I gave myself today "off" from the usual grind (I am a SAHM). I was either going to read or scrapbook today, but I definitely wanted to catch up on the Disboards.

Well..... I logged on at about 8:45 am after I took eldest child to the busstop. Stopped briefly around 12:30pm to take second child to afternoon Kindergarten. And here it is after 2:30 and I have to go pick up the kids at school in a few minutes.

AND WHAT HAVE I DONE ALL DAY??? Nothing but the DIS!! I am sitting here with both my bkfst and lunch dishes on the computer desk (yes I ate and typed at the same time!) If my DH knew I "wasted" the day like this he probably would roll his eyes at me (but he is pretty understanding that I need time to visit with my cyberfriends).

SO what is the most time that you have spent in a day on the Disboards??????...............................P:p ;)

I feel like I spent my entire spring break week on the DISboards. I couldn't help it. Most of my mornings started here around 8:30 or 9:00 and would spend a couple of hours. Then would come back to it in the after for 1-2 hours, then finish the evening here.

My DH was out of town, so once my DS went to bed it was me, tv, and disboards for several hours.

I've had days where I've probably spent a few hours on the DIS (generally broken up during the day - usually between unimportant things like cleaning the house or paying bills ;) )

I spent several hours on here one night reading all 50 pages of the tips and secret of WDW tread one night. (I YI YI) It took forever but I got a lot of great info!

I know on 9/11 I was here alot. Just constantly checking to be sure everyone was ok...plus I couldn't reach my sister by phone, but she was also online here at the DIS.

Most days I'm here for a bit, then off, then back on, then off again.

Boy I hope there's no way to find out! LOL ;) I would probably be embarrassed. :o

A good friend of mine made this for me sometime ago. I think that it expresses my "problem" well. Fortunately, I am a recovering DISer and haven't seen the sun come up in quite a while.

I know when I get to hunting and reading everyone's trip reports, I can really burn up some hours.:) But, they are so enjoyable.....:)

When I'm home all day, I sometimes just leave the dis on. I'll do what I need to do and read a bit, post a bit, and do more. My post count is high enough, I hope they never start counting hours. :earseek:

I just lvoe these boards, I can spend hours on here and I have.......

Complete DITTO! I swear if I'm not reading, watching or listening to Disney I'm either here or asleep! LOL! I've only been a member for a little over a month but I'M ADDICTED!

Have you recovered from late-night DISsing? Would you be my sponsor?

Well I do mine in shifts.........some in the morning, some in the afternoon & sometimes a bit again at night.

So all in all at most I've probably spent like 4 -5 hrs here in one day.

So glad to see I'm not the only one who is pathetically addicted to the "Dis"!........................P

I'm on and off all day, as well. But I did stay up until about 3:00am (from about 8:00pm) one night reading delswife's trip reports - well worth the missed sleep!

I'm here a couple of hours most days. I recently spent a little over three hours in one sitting and wondered where all the time went:earseek:
