When we go this summer the Magic Kingdom is open 8 am till 3 am (July 3rd) my daughters, 14 and 15 want to attempt to stay in the Magic Kingdom without leaving for the entire 19 hours. They have wanted to do the 24 hour event but with school its just not possible.

While I know I can do "Disney" for 19 hours, different parks, resorts etc. I am not sure I can realistically stay in one park for 19 hours :) so my question is how long have you stayed in 1 park without leaving? and any advice would be appreciated!

16 hours. EMH at 8 AM until the end of MVMCP at midnight. Loved it. But you'll be battling the heat. Plan 1 or 2 sit down indoor TS meals. And plan some breaks in the A/C (Hall of Presidents, CoP, Philharmagic).

We loved it. We felt like we owned the place. :)

24 hours at the party last year.

Do some table service adrs for breaks. See all the inside shows during hottest time of day. The time will fly by.

I believe 17 hours is my top. I love Disney, but I don't think I ever want to do that again lol

I think my longest was at Universal - 14 hours. We stayed from opening at 9:00 am to closing at 11:00 pm without taking any real breaks - we WENT the whole time. We were all worn out at the end of the day - practically dragged DD to the shuttle back to Disney.

We had some long Disney days that trip, too - maybe even some that were as long - but they weren't nearly as exhausting because we had ADRs and other breaks built into the schedule.

16 hours in MK a couple of weeks ago, Park open was at 8, and it closed at 11 (with MSEP ending at 11:30), and then we hung around to see the Kiss Goodnight at midnight. We had planned to go back to the room for a nap, but the way our schedule ended up, we would only have had about 1.5 hours, so not worth it for us to bus back to the hotel. It ended up being a really fun day. It was hot, so like other posters have said, we ate lunch, had a snack break, did some shopping, etc. to relax and cool off during the middle of the day.

If you start to get worn out, you could always let your daughters go roam around the parks on their own for a bit while you relax.

Our longest stay was 18 hours. We plan to stay up at least 20 hours when we go down for the 24-hr MK event in May.

14 hours- from 12pm to 2am in the morning on our last night! Rode Buzz 3 times in a row! Tomorrowland was spookily empty.

thanks for the great advice, I have had very long days at Disney just not a long day at one particular park. Its not like we have to spend the whole 19 hours at Magic Kingdom but the girls and I do think it would be pretty cool to say we did it :) We go at least once a year if not twice so we are always looking to do something "different" each time :) We are staying at Bay Lake Tower so I can just run over there if we should we have forgotten or need stuff from the room and at 3 am we can just crawl back to the room or jump on the monorail and don't have the added time on the bus. I like the idea of rides in the morning and indoor shows for the afternoon. we have a reservation for Be Our Guest for lunch and The Plaza for dinner. I don't want big heavy meals since we love to snack on all goodies throughout the day but did want the "break" at a restaurant.

Wow 16 and 17 hours!!? You all are crazy! ;)

Our longest was Epcot open to close - just over 12 hours. It was exhilarating and exhausting. I don't think I could ever do longer than that!

We did just over 14 between MK-epcot-mk with a 3 yo. She partied like a rock star!! Mad it the whole time

She was a messy the next day though! Lol but it was our last day so we pushed through

I only wish we could have spent longer!!! MK was only open until 9pm the days we were there, so we spent from 8am-9pm a few times... would love to spend longer!

19 straight hours in a park IN JULY????? Oh, lord, just shoot me now.:faint:

I'm a lightweight. About 8-10 hours in the park tops and I'm done. It just ceases to be fun when I'm too tired as much as I love it!

24 hours when they did the leap day thing. Well...I did 4 parks that day. Paper FP was a big part of it. I was also able to pull a Splash FP in the morning that I used several hours late, back when they were lax about turning them in late. I took notes through out the day on my phone so I have a record of how it went down.

Keep in mind I was alone and I carried no bags.

Got on the Bus to MK around 430 AM opened the park at 6, walked on Peter Pan, and HM Pulled a Splash FP which was used much later.

Walked to the Contemporary and took a bus to DHS for EMH rope drop. I walked on TSM, RNRC single rider, and TOT.

Then hopped to AK for 1030 breakfast at Tusker. Rode Safari with a FP, Kali and EE single rider.

Then hopped to Epcot. Rode SE, Figment, the Land, Nemo and Soarin with FP, Had a 2:30 ADR at Akershus. Rode TT single rider and MS with a FP.

Took the Monorail back to MK. I will never forget the view from the monorail on the road below. It was like the closing scene in Field of Dreams. The headlights seemed to go on forever. People coming from far and wide into MK.

I rode Splash with the FP from the morning and BTMR

Took the Boat to the GF for dinner at Narcoose at 930. Then back to MK where I tackled Tomorrowland. I road Buzz and Space Mountain with a FP. There was a Dismeet on the people mover at 2 AM. Then I rode Jungle Cruise and POTC. (The longest waits I had all day because the park was packed).

Worked my way to the packed hub where I found a spot and parked myself for pretty much the rest of the night/morning.

13 hours - park open at 9 am to park close at 10 pm ....
But we got there at 8 am and couldn't find or car until 11 pm so we were there for 15 hours!
I was feeling great until I had to get help finding my car ... It wasn't in the spot I had marked down in my phone ...

17 hours at the MK 7:30 rope drop to 12:30 (just past midnight). We did take a two hour break and go over to the Polynesian (Ohana) for dinner at around 6 p.m.

24 hours, Baby!!! Last year for Memorial Day Weekend. Miss it by one day this year. Pace yourself, rest in the shows, keep hydrated, don't forget to eat. You'll have a great time however long you stay!
