We waited 45 minutes in the toontown character tent. To see Minnie, Goofy and Pluto! LOL At least it was air conditioned.

And yes, we were there New Years Eve and Soarin WAS at 240 minutes by 4:30! :scared1: We had rode it at 7 that morning and walked right on. ;) God I love early EMH!

I DO NOT like waiting in lines and generally don't wait in anything longer than 20 min; however, one year DH and I waited for Test Track since it was posted to only be a 20 wait. YEAH RIGHT! I had never waited in the stand-by line for this ride and didn't realize how SLOW it moved. We were there for an hour!!!

First week in July, 1986. The Mississippi River had been diverted and was streaming between my shoulder blades. Temp was +/- 1,000 degrees. I had my 12 year old Princess with me... the moist one. I actually would have paid her not to whine Moooooommmmmmm it's soooooooo hhhhhhhooooooottttttt.

The three year old twins were using their Dad as a jungle gym. One was hanging around his neck, one crawled up his back. Our first trip to WDW as a blended family.:hippie: :hippie:

We waited for 90 minutes to see Figment and Captain EO. :crowded: :crowded: :crowded:

I'm a quick study. I do believe the only thing that would draw me to WDW in July would be a stay in the Castle. Otherwise, I really believe I would turn down even a free trip July 4th and it's surrounding weekends. Seriously. popcorn:: :snooty:

My 90min wait was actually at Universal when the Spiderman ride was new. I wasn't sure if that should really be counted in this survey. I do know that my feet hurt something awful after that slow shuffle through that line.

I would never wait that long for a ride at WDW because I always know I will be returning within a few months. Can always catch it next time.

In 1978 I waited nearly two hours in line at Jungle Cruise.

Since the start of Fast Passes, the longest I have waited is ten minutes.

NYE 3 years ago at Epcot we waited 3.5 hrs for test track. The park was so crowded and I got sick of getting slammed by people left and right just trying to walk. So, I figured it was safer to just wait in line. We did...

I wasn't there but my DH, DD and DS waited over two hours to go on TOT when
it first opened. But it was also the week between Christmas and New Year's
and believe me, we'll never do THAT again!:scared1:

2 hours for the Beast at Kings Island in Cincinnati 25 years ago. Vowed that day to never wait for any attraction over an hour again, and I haven't.

I got a lot of respones to this :thumbsup2 I know everyone complains about the lines but in MOST cases its worth it .... i dont know aboUt 4 hours !!!! though :upsidedow

We waited about an hour for Splash Mountain a few years ago. That's about the limit for me.

I waited 2 1/2 hours for Splash back in 1995. But I chose more because I waited a little over 4 hours to ride Kingda Ka at Six Flags Great Adventure on opening day:scared1: . The ride sucked

Back in 1996, we waited in a 60 minute line for Splash Mountain. I would never do that again.

Back in 1988 or 1989 in Disneyland. Splash Mountain wasnt officially opened yet and they were doing test runs here and there. We waited 3 hours!!!!!Back then, they didnt even have the photo opportunity at the end!!!! Crazy. Thank God for Fast Pass!!!!!:thumbsup2

Not Disney - BUT:

Milennium Force at Cedar Point in Ohio..... 4 hours and 45 minutes, opening weekend.

Took longer in that line, than it did to drive there!!! :sad2:

Thankfully I was young. :3dglasses

The most we've ever waited was about an hour which was unusual for us. Normally we'll try to stay under 30mins. It's much easier to say "no" to long lines now that we're DVC members and AP holders. We don't feel the need to stand in line.

If it's more than 15 minutes we skip it and do it another time. With Fast Pass and good planning, we've never had to wait more than that.
