On my very first trip - during Easter Week! for Magic Music Days - I waited for at least 90 minutes for everything! PoTC was about a 2 hour wait. So were Space and Big Thunder mountains. My friends and I kept ourselves (and hopefully those around us!) entertained by singing songs from the small choral ensembles we were in at the time.

I refuse to wait longer than 15 -20 minutes for anything. And there'd have to be a darn good reason why I was waiting 20 minutes...

In the modern era, the longest I've waited was about 20 minutes.

Back in the 80s, the longest I waited was an hour and a half, for the submarine ride at Disneyland. In the August heat.

We waited about 2 hours for Splash Mountain at DL back in the early '90s, before FP.

In 1997 when we took the kids for the first time, we waited at Peter Pan for about 45-50 minutes...what can I say we were DISless back then :confused3 (aka I hadn't found the site, lol) :rotfl:

The longest we waited was 20mns at Jungle Cruise (not really worth it) and Soarin' (would do it again in a hearbeat). Not sure if it counts, but we waited over 30mns to enter Fantasmic for the 2nd show. Is it a line though, when you're just not moving an inch for half an hour ?!
This was after Christmas and I was expecting a lot worse.Thank God for Fastpass and TGM!!!

The longest I waited was 30 minutes, the time posted was 45. But thankfully it went quicker. It was for the Barnstormer. I KNOW! But, my boys really wanted to ride and it was our last ride of the day before we went home. It was actually pretty fun. Even waiting wasn't bad. There were plenty of fun things to watch. Like people being controled by their kids. :lmao:

We used to put a 20 minute cap on waiting in lines, but now DH walks past with his nose in the air if it's even 20 minutes. He's a bit of a line snob. :lmao:

Wow 4 people acually waited more thae 240 mins ...4hours... for something :scared: i dont think i would even consider that myself i ususally give up after an hour and come back later unless im really close to the end :upsidedow

At Grad Nite we waited 2 hours to get on Splash. It had recently opened too so EVERYONE wanted to get on it. It was very very hot in that line.

I've been to 3 or 4 other big amusement parks outside of florida and i've got to say that one of the things that I love about Disney is the lines. At these other parks i've had to wait for 90 min many times for many rides that i dont even enjoy and that last only like a minute! (yep a gf will make u do some crazy things :)) Anyway, especially since fast pass was implemented, this was never a problem with disney. Everyone must have kicked themselves once they came up with that idea cuz really as great a thing as fp is it really shouldn't have taken that much thinking to think up :).

Anyway not only are the lines short but the rides themselves are really long. I mean Ellen is 45 minutes long! I love it! I think the most i waited at Disney was 40 min for its a small world. And i really do not like that ride (darn you Grandma!:)). All big rides just make sure u hit em early and as the afternoon aproaches maximize your fast passes. Simple stuf :).

Once I waited in line for Test Track for 90 minutes. We thought it said 20 minutes outside (which it did!) but it turns out that one was for single riders and the group riders one was 70 minutes!

HOLY GOD! When AK first opened my wife (then girlfriend) and I waited in literally 96 degree heat for a little over two hours for that horrific boat ride that they used to have that took you out on a boat with other people for five minutes and you looked at fake alligators and stuff in the river.....for those who dont remember it, think of the jungle cruise in MK without the funny tour guide or charm. It was by far the worst disney experience I have ever had. I think they closed that ride down due to it being so poorly received.

Of course had I known it was that bad i never would have waited in that awful line.
I read somewhere that they're thinking of bringing it back, or something similar to it! :lmao:

Two and a half hours for Space Mountain when it first opened in the mid 70"s. There was a long queue set up outside the building and it was hot. I can still remember first getting into the building and how cool (more ways than one) I thought it was.

A couple of years later I did SM about 5 times in an hour when there was absolutely no line at all. We quit because we just plain got tired of it. I don't think the parks ever get that empty any more.

Saturday, Dec. 9, 2006, on our last day at the parks, we spent the day at MK -- while waiting to use the FastPasses for Space Mountain in our pockets, we got on a line for Splash with a posted 20 minute wait. 45 minutes later, we got on the ride. VERY frustrating, and the longest we've waited for a ride at Disney World, by far!

Thanks for your votes. i wasnt too sure about a couple counties at first . hopefully this poll will help people decide wether to check them out or not , of course everyones entitled to there own opinion (and i Love hearing about it) ;) :upsidedow

dh and dd waited almost two hours to ride tower of terror in 1998. this was before fastpass of course. ds and i wandered around and saw some of the characters while they waited.

The longest line I have ever waited in what when I was about 10ish. It was August of 1998, we wait in a long line for Splash Mountain. We had no idea how long the queve was.....:rotfl:
