What's the likelihood of Disney dining plan being offered early 2017?

I was very excited to see that Disney continues to offer this deal throughout the end of 2016. Our trip, however, will likely occur early 2017 and the dining plan is my favorite deal. I wonder if we should try to go early December instead?

Dining Plan is always available at a price, if you mean "free dining" that is something that Disney uses when they need to fill rooms. With at least one marathon in the winter months it's doubtful

as the PP said the dining plan is offered year round.
if you want free dining then i'd suggest moving your trip to december because i don't believe disney has ever offered it in the beginning of the year.

there are likely to be other promotions though like a room rate discount or package discount.

We took advantage of an offer they had this winter, the play stay dine. I think they've offered it for a few years. It wasn't free dining, but it was discounted. Someone else will know specifics I'm sure, but it seemed as if the dining plan was about half price.

We actually got free dining in January a number of years back. But it's certainly not typical.

just curious if it was a bounceback?
i believe one year that we went in august with free dining we could have booked a bounceback for a future trip that was not date restricted but we opted to just wait and see if we were all going as a group again and ended up going during regular free dining dates again anyways.
