What's the latest you'd book an ADR and be confident in watching Fantasmic?

We're visiting in late January. Fantasmic is at 8:00. I currently have an ADR for 5:00 at Mama Melrose but would like to push it back if I can. What is the latest time you'd book and ADR at Mama Melrose and still be able to catch Fantasmic?

Depends on how picky you are about where you sit and how you are eating.

MM is notorious for being late, so let's say you push it back to 6:00, it could easily be 6:30 before you even sit down. Now are you eating three courses, two, just one? With just one, you could be out in 30-45 min which would give you enough time to get across HS and into the theater. As long as it's not completely full (which it probably won't be in Jan), you'll be able to find a seat along the edges somewhere. If you're doing two or more courses, then you will probably miss F! unless you are seated closer to your ADR time of 6:00. Unfortunately, you don't have any control over when you'll be sat. If it were me, I wouldn't push it back any farther than 5:30.
