What's the latest with Wishes FP?

Not looking for a debate on whether FP is worth it for Wishes - I'm just wondering what to expect with the new FP areas. I was there in Feb when the FP area was over by the rose garden and it was awesome, lots of space and we all lounged on the grass and relaxed while watching CtM and Wishes. Are the new areas smaller and more crowded/standing room only? It is a good idea to get to the FP area early so as to get a front row spot? Thanks!

We just used one on Tuesday night! We got to the area during the first Main St Electrical Parade and there were already quite a few people lounging on the grass. We staked a spot, sent some people off for food, and relaxed. It filled up quickly but in our area, no one stood so we sat for the CtM and Wishes. It was lovely! I will say that some up front further down from us stood which of course meant most behind had to stand, too.

I thought it ended up pretty darn crowded as people raced in as Wishes was beginning but the other area could have been much less cramped. Since we were all seated, we were fine.

We went to the fp area on the CP side 2 weeks ago and I have to say I am not a fan. We got there during the 1st MSEP and people were already there. A CM instructed everyone that 5 minutes before Wishes everyone had to stand, which really changed the mood. It felt like I was standing at any spot on Main Street surrounded by people. It didn't really save us any time either because we went there during the 1st MSEP, which we couldn't see. I also had the FP+ when it was in the Rose Garden & loved it. We stretched out during the entire show. I don't think I would do it again because like I said we still went early & had to stand surrounded by people.The only benefit was stretching out before the show.

Just used the area in front of Caseys tonight. We loved it. However as others have said, half of the area stood and thankfully our half of the area remained sitting. It was a great spot to enjoy CtM and Wishes.
