What's the latest time (EST I guess) that you've had a waitlist filled and

part two of that question is how late in the day/night did you stalk and find your room available to book?

With the waitlist we still don't have a clue if it's a computer program sweeping every so often or a human or the combination of the two correct? I'm just wondering if anyone has had a waitlist fill at say 1 am EST or the like. For those that stalk do you give up at a certain hour of the day or is anyone here insane enough to be checking in the middle of the night when they get up to use the bathroom?

I actually just got my 6 day wait-list fulfilled last week! I got the email notification at 4:38 p.m.

I had been stalking at the 7 month mark but someone was definitely walking their reservation. I put my wait-list in as soon as the option was available.

It filled automatically too. I didn't get a call or email asking for "approval" or anything like that. It's my first time getting a wait-list so I'm not sure if that's standard or maybe I checked a box or something when I filled out the wait-list request. I put the request it quite some time ago so I don't remember!

They system catches the room…how often is a guess. But it does seem it sweeps more than it used to.

Once matched a CM processes and emails sent. I have had to take hours after a CM processed a match to get th notification. I knew it was done because of how often I stalk the website.

Al this to say, there isn’t really a way to know because if a CM processes at say 5 pm at night, it might Be much later or the next day when the email comes.

IiRC, most of mine have come by 7 or 8 pm.

I definitely got one late one night, somewhere around midnight. It was our first waitlist, new members and I got the cancellation and freaked out. This was last year. Then last week, I got a waitlist email at 5:38am.

Correct…once it matches it is held. That is why if you call or chat and as, sometimes they will see it and then process it for you!

And, I have stalked all times of day and later at night because while it may be 11:00 pm with me, it will be morning somewhere else!!

It all depends on how important getting the room is!!!
