What's the Goofy Pool Like????

The Mickey pool is shaped like Mickeys head. It has a 1 story waterslide plus 2 wading pools for toddlers. It is not very deep.

Goofy pool is about 4 feet deep. It is in the family area and both these pools are usually crowded especially on the sea days. They are all fresh water pools.

The goofy pool was so crowded when we were there you couldn't move in it. I wouldn't let my 5 year old in there alone becuase bigger kids were jumping into the pool right on top of other people and kids...it was a zoo!

Here is a pic of the Goofy Pool - the only time you will see it empty!!! I wish they would have a lifeguard. this was the only time I was nervous, parents weren't with their kids, and the kids were wild!! This was in August, Canonballing everyone, one kid almost killed himself by backflipping into the pool, came about an inch from the deck!!!

My kids hated the Goofy pool. It is very small and the sides are very steep. You feel like you are in a hole. I think this is because it doubles as a dance floor during the deck parties. They much preferred the Mickey pool but they are now getting too old for that. The Adult Pool is wonderful. The Goofy Pool is probably my only complaint about the ship.

Honestly I don't know why Disney put in such small pools. We were on the Millennium (Celebrity) and the pools were MUCH bigger.

The water in both pools is very, very warm (at least it was last September). I got in the Goofy pool once with my DS and got right back out. It was much warmer than bath water! I could not enjoy it at all. It was empty when we swam though.
