Yay or Nay? I have read some decent reviews on trip advisor but I would like to hear from some fo you who ate there and what you ordered as well.

It’s a solid “nay” from me. I wanted to love it, but I just couldn’t find much appeal beyond the theming. Service is incredibly slow, the sandwiches are mass-produced and sit on large trays (not uncommon for a QS, I know), the line is always long (even at the mobile order window), and there is zero relief from the heat. The theming is cute, that’s about all it had going for it.

Haven’t been yet, but I’ve heard positive things about to food. Like the poster above me though, I’ve heard lots of negative about the lines and for all the seating being outdoors with no relief from the sun.

use mobile ordering... the mobile order line was v short. and get the s'mores sandwich or turkey sandwich! (we had breakfast and it was great!)

I waited in the mobile order line (after receiving the notice that my order was ready) for 20 minutes. That’s the only time I had that issue so it could have had more to do with an issue someone ahead of me was having.

I was there two weeks ago - it is (just) ok--nothing more. Long wait even with mobile app and non peak time dining. WAY too small to service the location. Smoked turkey sandwich was ok. Coffee ONLY has liquid non dairy creamer (I was told otherwise at the counter) no milk or half n half, mini bell cheese bites --well, you can't mess that up, now can ya? Yogurt parfait was good and not overly sweet as I feared. The breakfast bowl looked like coronary disease in-a-bowl.

Menu wasn't appealing, even less so after they changed it.

BUT because I like to explore I did wander throughout seating area to look.

Food did not look appealing at all ...

... but the bigger issue is way not enough tables/seats for the area,

no other places to really take it to eat.

Folks seemed to be lingering without food to eat ...

... and already reports of guests "altercations".

My biggest issue at DHS has been lack of QS with A/C and comfort seating.

That continues.

I agree with what you have to say about lack of good QS at DHS. Might I suggest Backlot Express. One of the few QS places I really enjoyed eating at. I think next trip I am going to give Fairfax Fare a try.

Backlot used to be out go to but in April the burgers were really bad. In July we had mobile ordered other items but didn't press here until we got inside and saw it was PACKED, not a seat to be found. I cancelled order. I actually find variety at Fairfax, but again I don't enjoy eating outside. Only place I have enjoyed eating outside is Brown Derby Lounge.

DHS is one park we focus on TS. July we ate at Sci-Fi and 50's Prime. Already booked for Sci-Fi next trip.

I do love Hollywood Brown Derby. Great service and meal for sure. Not sure I would try that Pizzaerizzo joint lol I've heard horror stories from there.

Mobile ordering was quick for me. Brisket sandwiches were good, for being quickly and massively produced. My kids did not like the three cheese mac n cheese. Having tried it myself, I agree with them.

Yes, Pizza Planet was bad. We had such high hopes that PizzaRizzo would bring NEW pizza and food. Nope, same pizza. On a trip shortly after it opened a group of us was looking for a place to eat and rest and just visit. DS1 wanted to eat "Muppets Pizza" ..... okay ......

We found there is a dance room upstairs set apart. Dance floor, disco ball, awesome music, empty. So we bucked up and got food. The pizza did come with side salad (presently pasta ....). We love the room, the atmosphere, the plugs on the wall.

Last trip just DS and I so when we cancelled Backlot we headed there. He got that pizza but I got the Antipasta Salad. I was shocked and impressed. It was really good (no way as good as our favorite Italian restaurant) and refreshing. I would get it again.

I do love a good salad and might have to try it then. I like trying new places.

I want to try the Raspberry Lunch Box Tart during my upcoming visit. I hope it's worth all the anticipation for it!

My food was fantastic. I got the brisket grilled cheese with pasta salad, loved it. Best CS I've ever had at Studios.

The process of getting the food was a nightmare. Long line. Waited FOREVER for my food. Nowhere to eat, so asked for a box, packed it up, and walked over to Backlot Express to eat in some AC.

But, it tasted really, really good. They just need to streamline the ordering and food delivery, eliminate mobile order, because it becomes too much for them to keep up with, and like, double the seating.

For what it’s worth I thought it was great. Went about a week ago, 6:30 pm, I got the brisket and the gf got the turkey sandwich and we both got a beer. Both sandwiches were good, and I know some people don’t like it but their beer was very reasonably priced.

We mobile ordered, got our food in under a minute, and a seat almost right away. Got a second beer each when we were done (again without a wait) and took them in line for Slinky Dog where the CS commented on our “apple juice”... it was a memorable experience.

We have always used Backlot as our default CS in DHS. I have no idea who is responsible for the logistics of dining in this park, but whoever it is should be made to travel with us for a day. Actually, I think that before any imagineer designs queues, seating, attractions car shape and size, and dining, they should have to tour with my crew. From park entrance to snacks, to waiting in line for an attraction, to discussing snacks and where on earth can we sit, to "I'm hot" "My feet hurt" to my husband's absolute complaint "Where are the hot dog stands?"

For the love of all that is holy, how some of these people keep their jobs is beyond me. A brand new Land, one that is designed to attract families, and no place to get out of the sun. In Florida. In July. Ridiculous.

Agreed! I am usually one to suck it up and not complain that it’s hot in Florida in August, or that it’s a lot of walking and so on. I accept these as the terms of being there.

However, could Andy maybe grow a few (dozen) trees, or pop open some umbrellas in his backyard?! There is no relief from the sun over there. Perhaps a few parachutes for the green Army men could be put up to add shade but keep with the theme, or fashion something out of tinker toys. Woody’s lack of seating/ shade/ cool air/ organization only adds to the insult. They could put some gift shops over there for A/C and shade- I can not believe they haven’t thought of that already.
