What's the 'deal'?

Does anyone know what the current shopping promotion is?

The one where you spend 'X' amount of dollars and get 'X' at a reduced rate? Seems like before there have been blankets or bags sold at a reduced price when you spent like $25 or $50. Just curious what the special is right now.

When we went in May, the special promotion was a pin lanyard with pins and a backpack.

Tote bag last week..and it wasn't even cute.

If you spent $25 you can get a tote bag or duffle bag for $16. If you spend $40 you can get a pin set and lanyard for $18 or $20. I usually do get a promotional bag, but this time I wasn't thrilled with them so I decided to save my money.

About 2 weeks ago someone was at WDW and took pictures of what the deal currently is. The above link is not what was being offered. As a matter of fact, I have that exact beach bag, blanket and rolling duffle from our trip in March of 2011. I think they've switched it since then, according to the pictures that were in the post I mentioned. I don't know for sure though.

I've only once bought a promotional bag thingy (maybe in 2008?). It was kind of like a backpack, black with a green swirly paint-brush looking Mickey head on it. Maybe said something about being "green" on it. We bought it because were lugging extra stuff around the parks and needed something to stash it in. (Which, I'm sure is why they sell bags as promotional items - marketing at its best)
