What's the deal with Shamu Rocks?

Is it a seasonal show? Will it be running this year? What sort of dates will it be running?

Shamu Rocks is the night time performance of the Shamu show. Every year I've been, it runs every night, when it gets a bit darker. Filled with lots of loud music, its a bit shorter than the daytime show, but well worth watching.

As "Believe" is a bit too...sentimental...for me, I love Shamu Rocks. It's a much more upbeat atmosphere, more "fun" than "beautiful" (which is what I think they're going for with Believe.

But hey, I'm an incurable cynic. If you like Hallmark commercials, you'll love Believe, so check them both out! Shamu Rocks is usually right before the fireworks, so it's a nice way to kill time before that final show either way.

Not a big fan of Believe, either. No educational quotient (which is actually surprising, as marine mammals regulations require shows to have an educational element).. it's all mooshy-touchy-feely... and just kinda annoying. And the whale fluke necklace... what a merchandising scam!

As for Shamu Rocks, they weren't doing it when I was there over the weekend. But they usually don't do 'night' shows unless they're staying open late. Summer is usually the best bet for that.. once they start staying open til 9 and 10 pm. =)
