Hi Everyone!
Can anyone who's stayed at Pop Century recently shed some light on the progress of the refurbishments at there? I'm staying there in early January and it's unclear to what extent, if any, the resort will be under construction.
I used the chat feature on WDW's website to ask a couple of CMs, and I got conflicting information. The first CM told me that there wouldn't be any construction at all except on the Generation Gap bridge leading to AOA. The second told me some of the hotel buildings would be under construction until next summer, but that the restaurant/pools wouldn't be affected. I received these answers on the same day.
I called yesterday to book, and the CM told me that all construction would be done by the end of this year. I also didn't see the orange construction warnings on the resort's webpage when I priced the hotel stay online. I'm requesting a refurbished room just in case they're not all redone, but it's unlike Disney to offer conflicting answers.
Does anyone have more information? Thanks!
