What's the cheapest you've ever paid for a room?

We've stayed at Value resorts a couple of times in the last two years for $49.00 (value season, Florida residents). We stayed at the Dolphin in October of 2004 for $129 per night including taxes and resort fee (through Travelocity).

a couple years ago when we were having all the brush fires here in FL my family got a tower MK view @ the contemporary for like 129$ free tickets to anywhere in WDW, and a 40% discount on food

According to my AA Advantage membership I can book POP resort from August-September for $43 a night. Too bad there is no way we could swing 2 trips this close to one another.

Just how you get this rate from AA? Through their website?
(I live outside the States so NO special rates/offers for us) We are going to WDW next week and just got the rack rate at POP.

I rented points off a DVC for only $580 for one week in a 1 bdrm villa at OKW. That included taxes and all the other junk they tack on at the end. It was SUCH A BARGAIN!!!!!

I loved it there and highly recommend it!!
