I am suffering from Post-Vacation blue, and I want to know how I can get myself back to the WORLD. :guilty:
Looking at the calendar, DS and I have two weeks off for Christmas, I technically have a few days after boxing days that I have nothing better to do. :rolleyes1
I can leav DH at home/to work, and take DS with me to visit the mouse, but DH will kill if I spend more $$$ on airfare, especially the Holidays season price. Since we all have PAP, I can maybe stay at some no tell motel, and eat only QS and bring my own snacks. But still, I have got to find a way to transport me and DS down there and back.
Does anyone has any idea what I can do to fulfill my guilty pleasure? :littleangel:

But airfare around Christmas/ New Year is way too much. I am thinking like bus or driving or something. I don't think I can drive 20 hours all by myself tho....

The drive RT will cost you (depending on what you drive) about $500-$600 when you factor in gas, food and hotels. You would also need to add in the cost of a pretrip service and post trip service on your car. It could potentially cost you more as I would tend to think that as a single driver you might need to divide the drive into 3 days...not 2.

You should be able to get airfare for a pretty similar price from BUF or ROC.

Personally, I would never attempt that drive without an second driver. I just don't feel that it's safe.

Oh well, guess there is no way I can go again this year.... :(
Unless I win the lottery....
But then I would just buy a mansion in Golden Oak and live there full time! LOL

Anyone driving down to the World this Christmas. Can we carpool?!?!
