What's the boat service like from Yacht and Beach Club?

WE are planning to take the boat to MGM about 4:00 on a Thursday. How often do the boats come, and what is the trip like? Does it stop at the other resorts? I can't remember from when I stayed there last time. Is there somewhere I can search for a "schedule"?
Thanks!

Boat service to/from YC is pretty good! Boats run the following schedule...

MGM Studios to Swan/Dolphin
to Boardwalk
to Yacht/Beach Club
to Epcot

and reverse schedule for Epcot to MGM

Boats are reliable and run about aevery 15 minutes I think...it mostly depends upon the time of year and traffic on the water...a few weeks ago at the YC, we got a bit delayed as there were about 6 of the Mouseboats running around where they weren't suppose to be...security boats had to be dispatched to corral them in to the appropriate area. Even if the boats are running a little behind, the ride is a great one...you get to see quite a bit that can only be seen from the water, so enjoy!

It is a nice ride. The boat service is quite slow. It will get you there but I can walk there faster than that boat can sail. The entire circuit from Epcot to MGM takes about a half hour. Same going back.

Leave plenty of time if you have a deadline you are trying to meet.

I believe the boat goes from MGM to SD then BC then BW then Epcot, then back.

ITA...Love the boats...but they are not fast by any means.

I was wondering if I transposed that part...I guess I did...oops!

Just got back from the Beach Club.

The boats were reliable and on schedule. It's always faster to use the boat if on schedule except for these two possibilities:

You can walk from Boardwalk Villas to MGM in about 15 minutes so you might beat the boat... but if it's hot or you have kids that might not be advisable....

And it's always faster to walk to EPCOT from the Beach Club, and often the Yacht Club. With a pedometer we discovered the walk to teh end of the dock was the same as to the EPCOT gateway from our room at the end of the Villas wing!
