I'm really enjoying your TR! What a great treat to be able to spend your birthday at WDW. Unfortunately mine usually falls during the kids' final exams week.

I love being able to go to the parks early, get a bunch done and then leave when it gets crowded! That's definitely the way to do it.

Thanks! I agree. That's always how we've done our trips. We're rarely in the parks at night - although we did go back to MK after dinner as you will soon find out.

Yes, it has been known to come out. Apparently a CM uses a remote device to unlock it from a nearby spot, but it doesn't happen very often. It raises up, but doesn't come out.

Just getting caught up! I don't love birds either...as a matter of fact when Bryan and I went to the MK in Feb. of 1996 a bird stuck its beak right through my ice cream cone and lifted the ice cream right off the cone!! I liked your picture though! What a GREAT birthday surprise from Keith! How very thoughtful!! I can't wait to hear what you thought of Kona!!
