What's the big deal about LTT for the MNSSHP?

The menu for Crystal Palace appeals to me more than LTT's menu, but when I called to make PS, the CM tried to talk me into LTT even though she couldn't tell me why it's so special. I made the PS for CP at 1730, and thought I would ask all of you veterns to please tell me why LTT would be a better choice. Do they do something special in honor of MNSSHP? Thanks!

I have no idea what the big deal is. We have a tradition of eating at Chef Mickey's before the party. Chip and Dale are a lot of fun trying on everyone's costumes and stuff. I don't know what special things happen at LTT. I save LTT for the Saturday that we stay to watch Spectromagic.

I don't know for sure, either. The characters are in Halloween costumes for MNSSHP, but I think it was even filling up before the character change including Donald and Daisy. The popularity must mean something, because Disney was letting folks make PS before the normal window (the old school window, that is). I saw everyone going nuts about it on the board, liked the sound of the food when I checked the menu, and called about 120 days out (early June) for our PS.

I guess being in the park before the party, getting a 5:30-6:00 PS and then hitting MNSSHP at a dead sprint are enticing. Also, you couldn't make a PS at Crystal Palace until the regular window opened, and IIRC a lot of people were getting LTT just to have something, and then changing to CP.

Thanks for the replies guys! I think that we are going to stick with our CP PS. I can't wait to meet Pooh!

I would keep your ps for CP. We have our PS for Tony's for our MNSSHP night! When I've gone for MVMCP we've always eaten in the Castle, but I really don't think they have the best food for dinner so doing something different.

Another benefit to eating dinner @ LTT is that you can get in for dinner before the party without using a day on your park ticket. Many people (including us) don't go to a park on the day of MNSSHP. They will let you in for dinner @ LTT with just a ticket for the party, while to eat @ CP during that in-between time (we are eating at 5:10), you must be in the park with a regular ticket. Does that make sense?
