What's the big deal about being taken?

I searched the word and nothing came up, so sorry if it's been discussed.

I keep seeing so many people just walk up and ask if someone is taken. People are even putting it in their sig. Is this just the kids playing around at being bf/gf? Or is there something more to it? And what's with all the wedding rooms?

I guess I'm just getting old. I don't see any reason to be taken on a virtual game.

Seems like lots of players are looking for that bf/gf so many people have put taken in thier signatures so they stopped being asked. I put very taken in mine and disalex asked what that meant. I felt like being married for 15 years was very taken.

If you ask me, the whole concept of having a virtual bf/gf in a game is both dumb and stupid. I mean, how is a teen or tween capable of understanding what goes on in a relationship? I know even less about it myself, and I'm in my 30's.

And besides that, I've already done the "meeting over the Internet" thing. It just doesn't work. Females are just not interested in guys over the Internet, and even those who are, when they meet in person their expectations are severely diminished. I thought I had something myself six years ago in Flagstaff, AZ, but it just didn't happen. Now I think that girl is better off without me than with me.

Well, I met my wife over the internet 8 years ago..... but we were both in our late 20s at the time... we have been happily married for 2 years now and have our first mutual child on the way in about 6 weeks!

I have it in my sig because I kept getting bugged by people asking if they could be my boyfriend or girlfriend.

NOW people are asking if I'll be their ma ma. I saw a room that said find or be a ma ma or da da.

Well, I met my wife over the internet 8 years ago..... but we were both in our late 20s at the time... we have been happily married for 2 years now and have our first mutual child on the way in about 6 weeks!

Met mine over the internet too! It can happen
