I never considered myself to be a sugar addict. Bread & potatoes, absolutely, but I could have a whole bag of candy bars here and not be tempted. But these last few days with birthday cake in the house I am dying. (Okay, a little exaggeration . . . a play for sympathy.
) Even when its not the b-day cake I have some Jr. Mints or butter mints pretty much every day. I am about ready to eat 2T of frosting (3 points - I already checked). But I don't want to use my points like that. I wish I wasn't even tempted. Ugh! I'll be glad when that cake is GONE!!!

If the Jr. Mints aren't around, you can't eat them, right? Could you give the left over cake away or just (shudder) toss it out?
I did lose weight and felt great ('course it snuck back up on my eventually and I lost and gained again many times). The point is, I knew I wasn't going to lose weight with a chocolate ice cream cone in my hand. I wanted to finish it, but it wouldn't have gotten me any closer to where I wanted to be.
I had one piece Sat. night and felt horrible about it Sunday. Been watching the scale and today it crept up a little (I know, I know I shouldn't watch it). My WW weigh in is tomorrow morning.
