What's the best way to get from Disney to Universal?

We're going to WDW this friday, and want to go to Universal for 2 days the next week. What's the best way? I know we can rent a car for $100 (keeping it for 2 days, Thursday & friday). How much is a taxi? Shuttle?

I agree with the shuttle cause it will save you in the long run cause with the rental car you will still have to pay to park

Mears for sure! Before we moved to FL, we always used Mears to visit USF/IOA for a day or two during our Disney vacations. Painless and reasonably priced.

I knew Lynx upped their fares but I didn't know Mears had...I'm not surprised though...it's a sign of the times. Still...it's only $2.00 more and you won't have to pay $12.00 to park.
