whats the best way to get from disney to universal stuidos?

We are going on our first Disney trip in May and I was wondering what the best option for getting from Art of Animation resort to universal studios? Is there a shuttle bus that goes there?

Mears has a shuttle.


I'd just get a rental car and pay for parking. But I like rental cars.

There is a Lynx bus that you can get to Seaworld and then transfer to Universal from there, and I think that departs just outside Downtown Disney.

We always opt for a taxi though. Yes, its expensive, but only takes about 20-25 minutes from the hotel (we stayed at AOA last year and Pop this year) to the taxi stand at Universal.

Depends on the size of your group. A cab, or car service, will run you about $45 each way....probably $80 r/t. Or you can book the Mears shuttle for $20 pp, r/t. It does have to be booked the day before though. You can give them the time you want to leave and they will give you the time for pickup....they start pretty early. For your departure from US/IoA, you can either reserve the p/u time when you book, or you can call them a few hours before you want to leave. They will then give you the time to be at the bus stop. I've used it several times and it has worked out great.

I agree. The lynx bus takes 2 hours to get you from DTD to Universal.
