I will take whatever deal there is available, our dates are 1/29- 2/4 or 2/5. Free dining would be the best deal for us but if it's 4/3, 5/2, kids free, room-only-- whatever it is, I'll take it! Which is the best way to book this ressie- pkg or room-only?

we are going the same time to POR but haven't book yet either. LaST year the deals sarted the end of Sept. 4/w3 will save you about 45%. Never have FD that time of year in the past. Room only may be 40% off mods, 30% off value if history repeats itself

If you want the best discount, the best way is to not book at all until one becomes available---each reservation on the books is a signal to Disney that they don't need to be as aggressive in discounting as they might otherwise have to be.

That's a good point.

We are looking to go in February 2011 as well, and right now I'm waiting (although I may book an acceptable rate at the Swan just incase Disney doesn't offer any incentive to stay at one of their resorts).

So, I'm hoping for 40% off/free dining...something to make a package worthwhile. I priced a trip staying at the GF for 5 nights and well, :scared1:

I have been wondering if I should keep my reservation or not. We generally get 2 sets of pins, one in my name and one in my 4yo sons name. LOL We have something booked for January and am hoping that doesn't affect getting a pin.

I agree thus am waiting. Last year discounts came out the end of Sept.I hope we see the 4/3 deal this year

DISNEY GUY:

have you found any discount rates for Swan/Dolphin for 2011?

I was debating the same, but the rates seem high for the week I was looking....
so also just looking for good Onsite package deal as of now!
Thanks.
