We are looking to travel for the first time in an airplane with our first child - no panic there then. However, I'm more concerned about how to get him adapted to EST and then back again.
Does anyone have any tips?
i find babies hard, try to keep them in the normal routine on the plane, and if there not being a real pain dont let them sleep too much, we always let ours (when they were little and same with izzy this year) have a nap around the normal time they would go to be for about 90 mins then wake them up and as long as you can keep them awake till your on par with florida time, we normally are in bed by 10 florida time, it takes a few days but eventually they get there, my lot would wake up @ 3 am then 4 then 5 then 6 and after the first week wed all be ok getting up together again, lol thats why we go for 3 weeks @ a time or more when there so little, were shattered the first week!
and back we have night flights so they sleep then only let them have a few hours @ home wake them up early then try to only let them have a small nap in the day so they fit back into normal straight away.
my 6 year old always says the nights are so long when we get home from holiday....bless him !X
