What's the best scooter option when you can't bend your knee

We will be spending next Monday and Wednesday at the parks and then Tuesday will be at Downtown Disney. I've got stitches in my knee that will be removed on Monday, so right now I"m really limited in bending my knee. We'll have a 5yo and 2yo with us, so I don't think making DH push me in a wheelchair is a good option. I'm looking into renting a scooter for our time there. Are there any companies that have one that allows the leg to stay straight out?

Pretty much any of the ECV scooters with a "tower" type steering column and 4 wheels will let you keep your leg out straight, you just have to set it on top of the "fender" over the front wheel. Not sure how easy it will be to get on and off the scooter without bending the leg though.

It's been quite entertaining watching me stand up from the ECVs at Target. ;-) Hopefully when the stitches come out I can move it more, but I'm thinking it might still be tender.

1) Just get one with a swivel seat.
2) You can rotate 90º and stand much easier.
3) Sure takes the strain from the knee and back.
4) Plus, no standing THEN having to get by the steering column.

Try a bed pillow under the knee. It might just do the trick for you.
