Where would you go first? Any/all details appreciated

The adventurers club...wait for the library to open up for the show.

Small shows/acts go on all throughout the place..the masks on the walls talk...it is a great time.

Definitely the Adventures Club. You really have to go early and stay for awhile to get the full effect. It's a lot of fun. Then of course the comedy club. You could see both shows every night for a week and each would be different. I really enjoy the show.::yes::

We loved both the Adventurers Club and the Comedy club!! We had a blast at both!!!!!!!!!

Yes the Adventure's Club is great, but I enjoy seeing all the people. It's almost as entertaining as Harvard Square!

Have Fun!!!

We must always go to see where Kabang plays. Usually they play the Rock and Roll Beach Club but last time they played the West End Stage. They are ab fab:hyper: :hyper: :hyper: We love R n Roll and we thought one time at the Adventurers Club was enough. To each his own. Fun Fun place whereever you land. princess:

Is there a charge to get into PI?

Yes there is, I haven't been in like 7 or 8 years, Im not sure of the exact cost...Im thinking somewhere in the $22-$23 range...Im sure someone on the boards will know the exact price...you pay one admission that allows you to enter all the clubs once inside PI...If you have PAP or UPH's, admission to PI is included...

A question of my own: would the adventurers club and the comedy club be appropriate for a 13 year old with parents? since we haven't been since dd was 5, I was thinking we might check these out if appropriate for her age...what do you think?

DianeyMim - Harvard Square as in Cambridge, Ma? Great place to people watch. I just love the Boston area.::yes::

Marching along we're adveturers singing the song of adventurers, up or down, North, South, East or West an adventurers life is best.... DUM DA DUM...... Kongaloosh......

I'll add my opinion to the majority here - Adventurers Club and the Comedy Club top the list at PI!

I agree, we really enjoyed the adventurers club and the comedy club. We are not the dance club type, so these spots were the most fun for us. They are the most "Disney" IMO.

We took DD when she was 14 and she loved it. We went to the very first show at the Comedy Club and it definitely had some "adult" type humor - but nothing worse then what she's seen on TV. Then we went to the AC and it was GREAT. We definitely want to go back this summer. Once again there is some "adult" humor - but nothing foul mouthed or truly crude. We left about 9ish and the streets were starting to fill up with partyer's. I'd suggest you do the same - go as early as possible and leave before it gets too rowdy out on the street. There have been heated discussions about this in the past with some folks who don't think anyone under 18 should be there - but you know your child best and as long as you aren't going to be "shocked" and mad about the adult themes then go for it.

the adventures club and the comedy club are our favorites. cheer daddy, i agree with disney debby. go early to both of these clubs and you should be fine...we have taken our kids many times when they were younger without a problem. always went to the first show at the comedy club... occasionally something off color but nothing really bad. Never heard anything bad at the adventures club. both are great fun....enjoy!!

The Adventurer's Club was a surprise hit during our January trip. Even though we stood around for the first 15 minutes thinking, "What the...?" By the time we finished our first drinks, we were in the Mask Room having a ball!

Kungaloosh!

No one has mentioned the Jazz Club! Our fave is Joy... er, can't remember her last name. Wonderful singer/piano player. She usually does requests and such. I find this club to be very relaxing if you need a break... its dark and quiet, with comfy chairs... and usually isnt crowded. Great place to stop in at for a nice drink and conversation =)

Disney Debbie & Bubbles: thanks for your imput...I think we might try these out this summer...dd has surely heard worse from me than anything she'd hear at these two clubs! lol! I like the idea of going early and she would be with her parents...I mainly wanted to see how other adults/parents would feel about us taking her...thanks again...

I was there last week and I'm 99% sure its 21.25 to get into Pleasure Island. If you plan on going back multiple times, when you buy your original ticket, you can ask to get an additional 5 days for only $5 more, I just don't remember if they're the next 5 consecutive days or if you can use them whenever. Either way, it really reduces the price if you plan to go more than once. I think the comedy club alone is worth the admission. We went to the 10:30 and the 12:05 and its all improv, so both shows were hilarious. Don't miss it if you have the chance
