What's the best I can expect in June?

My last four trips have been during free fall dining but my DD14 just can't miss a week of highschool so we are going to go the day after school gets out in June 2012. That would be checking in on June 1st or 2nd. What kind of discounts have been offered the past few Junes? My kids are "Disney adults" so Kids Stay and Play Free doesn't work for me. What I am hoping for (and tell me if this is expecting too much) is the 4/3 deal with free QSDP. We will probably book a moderate.
The other option we are kicking around is staying at the Holiday Inn at Downtown Disney because we are going with friends and the husband works for the company and can get a terrific rate...but then no dining plan, pay to park blah blah blah. What Disney offers can I hope for in early June?

I don't think you can get a 4/3 deal with free dining of any sort. Disney doesn't stack deals like that, so it would be a discounted room/package OR free dining. I don't think free dining will be offered in June but no one can say for sure. We went the first week in June last year and has the room only rate (25/35/40, I think.) It was the AP discount, but I think they ended up offering the same to the public. They also offered the gift card deal (but you had to pay full price/rack rate for your room to get it.)

Thank you, that link was exactly what I needed. The 4/3 deal would work the best for me but it hasn't been offered since 09. Oh well, any discount is better than no discount.

we're normally a summer WDW family (2011 we're going in December) and I think there's only been 1 summer when no discounts were offered....yes, the 4/3 deal was fantastic but last year I got a PIN code for 40% off the resort via a TV commercial of all things and I adjust the reservations at that time. We do the TIW dining option with one AP and then schedule 2 trips within a 12 month window to take maximum advantage of both.

in 09 we also got the 4/3 discount in June and then last June we had 40% off at a deluxe...or was it 35% ..but anyway..

that's what we've had in the past, and Im HOPING for 4/3 in June 2012, but Im not holding my breath!!

We are right here with you. We are traveling June 19-29 and are hoping for a great AP room discount. Right now I'm looking at AAA rates, but they are not as great as I hoped. Here's hoping for some Pixie Dust!!
